Add an HIV+ tag
Twitch has added numerous tags for mental health and chronic health conditions, there needs to be an HIV tag added to this.
Stigma around HIV is a huge issue that can only be fought through education and awareness around HIV. It would be hugely helpful to have a tag for creators who are HIV positive to communicate that fact and provide space for others who need support or information.
I am making this rather than voting for the pre-existing user Voice because I very explicitly do not want or think we need a POZ or AIDS tag. In my opinion poz as a euphemism for HIV+ is born out of stigma and does not help reduce it. Meanwhile and AIDS tag would only contribute to the misinformation and confusion about the difference between HIV and AIDS.
We needs an HIV+ tag.
Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out about adding an HIV+ tag. With the recent introduction of a new feature, we're happy to announce that you should be able to create a space for yourself and other users in this community with the help of custom tags, as they allow you to describe your stream in your own word. You can add a total of ten tags to your stream. For more information, feel free to check out our blog post here.

HIV is still one of the most stigmatized diseases in the world. Bringing awareness to this with a tag is important. If you are going to allow tags for various mental heath and chronic heath conditions than why is HIV not one of them? There is currently no cure for HIV - making it a life-long condition that may affect every part of someone's life. No different from the tags that are currently available like ADHD, Depression, Paraplegic, or Tourette Syndrome just to name a few

Visibility is important, and conversations around HIV/AIDS are important to have.

I think this is too specific

Ok. I really love the mission that this tag is going for and I stand with the mission. However and this is to shed light and provide a opinion. Can an alternative to HIV+ be provided such as HIV awareness or U=U since sexual education is too broad of tag. I would like to express my opinion but I feel this might even be too much, but just that doesn't seem like the tag. Please understand this doesn't come from a malicious angle.
