For the love of god, please make this happen. I HATE the Featured Broadcast. I've tried using ad blockers to remove the specific element and everything. It's the absolute worst. At least make it so it doesn't auto-play.

I agree with everyone. Or at least play something related to the channels we follow. Having two girls sings sad songs isn't my cup if tea.

I don't give a crap about overwatch. I don't want to click twice to close that anoying autoplay stream (the second click is to close the minimised version). They know very well nobody likes that feature, but blizzard cunts are paying them the big bucks to keep it there $$$

Please remove the AutoPlay Featured Broadcasters. I will not come back to this website until I hear it has been removed.

for others who came to this page looking for a way to stop this. Download an adblock like UBlock origin extension for chrome and then open the dashboard/options panel, under my Filters just add these two lines into the text box and save and it will just remove that video player on the homepage.

Wtf is wrong with Featured Broadcasters ???

I don't mind the featured broadcast too much or even that it auto-plays, but I really hate how you can't mute it without also muting all streams (as in when I open a stream by clicking on them specifically). It is so annoying since every time I open the homepage my ears are assaulted by whatever crappy streamer is featured. Most of the time when I open the homepage I'm checking to see if one of the streamers I like are streaming (when I do this I'd prefer their to be no sound).

This would be very much appreciated. The way it is now really makes me avoid the front page.

I would like to be able to disable auto play but still see it.

The featured broadcast autoplaying every time I load the twitch homepage just leaves me avoiding even visiting twitch.

So for whatver reason Amazon/Twitch uses the least favoritable method of "boosting" some streamers stats.

A reason why not to use that site when you do NOT want to watch random "featured" things.
But twitch won't even budge to this. they are making way to much money that way.

Agreed. Also, I hate how as I navigate through channels, the previously viewed one gets minimized and put in the corner of my screen. If I navigate away from what I watching, it's because I don't want to continue watching it. It's annoying to have to constantly be closing and muting the "Featured Broadcast" along with the minimized channel.

So: show me what I click on, and stop showing what I click away from.

I made a custom script to remove the <video> tags and it still plays sound. Please do something about it !
