Rename "man" and "woman" tag to "male" and "female"
Currently the tags for male- or female-focused streams are "man" and "woman," but the Terms of Service allow anyone over the age of THIRTEEN to stream. A 13 year-old male is NOT a man. A 13 year-old female is NOT a woman. Your system currently has no tags for these broadcasters aged 13-17 to tag their gender identities.
I understand that some feminists are sensitive to the word "female," as they associate its use with misogyny, but if this is a significant concern "boy" and "girl" tags may be used or added to the existing tags as in "man/boy" or "woman/girl." However, combining the tags in this way unfortunately might cause another issue, as that's the language used by NAMBLA.
I believe allowing the word "female" to become a slur is inherently problematic. It's so ingrained in both society and literature that people are never going to stop using it, and people who find out that it's taboo and yet don't know the context behind its stigmatization will misunderstand the message as being that femininity itself is undesirable. I think the word "female" should be embraced until the stigma behind it disappears.

I'm fairly sure Twitch chose "man" and "woman" for people with gender identity disorder, and wouldn't dare offer "male" or "female" as options as those refer to people's biological reality, which is politically incorrect these days.
