Increase amount of tags
With the increase in available tags, it would be wonderful to be able to pick more than 5 tags.
Could we get an increase in the amount of possible tags, so we don't have to struggle over which tags we want to go with? Like say, 10?

With the new identity tags, and us wanting to represent ourselves accurately, more tags would be SO necessary so we can tag our identities AND what content we’re streaming

Please increase the limit. Not only will it benefit the queer community but other communities can add more tags to their streams as well.

As a Disabled Filipinx/a/o Non-Binary Queer, these tag limitations isn't so great for me and for marginalized folx. We need more than just "5 tags"; these identities mean a lot to us, please increase!

As it stands currently I would be using five tags and there are a few more I'd like to identify as through discoverability.

Before these new tags i already ran out of space and now i see 3 identity tags i could use, so yes please raise the maximum.

I usually ran out of space before identity tags, so having more tags would be really great. In addition, with nuanced identities, if you add, for instance, "transgender," "non-binary," "********," and "Black," that's four tags already without even being super specific. Add in things like disabilities, and you're over the limit. This also allows no game-specific tags at all.
Generally things like discoverability HELP the platform, as it means users stay longer, find more people to subscribe to, and have a variety of content to watch so they come to Twitch first, so adding more tags only increases that ability to engage.

Please increase the tag number to at least 20. Though I am excited about new identity tags, I am frustrated about choosing which parts of my identity to show in only 5 tags. This also leaves no room for me to describe what I am doing on stream with tags. Please support intersectional community members by allowing for more tags.

Please increase tag limit to *at least* 10.

Please don't take as long as you did adding the tags in the first place.

Add the kurdish tag please!

I think this is a great idea and a necessity now that all the new tags have been added. I'd say at least 10 would be optimal!

If it's purely a tag limit increase that we get from this, rather than separate categorization of identity tags vs content tags, then I would definitely opt on the higher side with at least 15.
For me, there are already 7 tags that apply just to my identity. On top of that, there are a few tags that apply to *all* my content in general, e.g. Vtuber. On top of that, with a limit of 10 tags, it would be impossible to fit in any additional content-specific tags like Speedrun, Any%, No Backseating", etc. And then we have additional tags needed in some cases like Closed Captions, Charity, etc.
Remember that it's not necessarily about "diminishing returns" with tags. It's about being able to see the tags below the stream without needing giant notices all over the stream and About Me section and etc, so that users immediately know what's going on and what's acceptable / what's not acceptable.

There is a better explained user voice on this topic here:
https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310210-discover/suggestions/43507956-make-identity-accessibility-tags-permanent-togglThe short of it is that user identity tags and stream tags should be seperated. Also that the identity tags should not reset after 72 hours like stream tags do if you've not streamed again in 72 hours.

I'd be fine with 10 tags, but I believe the system probably needs to be increased to around 15 to allow folks to include their identity tags as well as things like "first playthrough" and "no backseating" still. It doesn't feel good to have to pick and choose

I'm sure this is gonna be a learning curve and viewer ship is gonna fluctuate until everyone gets the hang of picking and choosing through the new tags system, but I really wish Twitch had thought about the tag limit a bit when expanding the possible tags this much.
I LOVE the idea of "Identity Tag" section that is maybe editable in our Channel Profiles separate from specific Stream Tags... Then maybe the limit could be 5 for each for a total of 10 tags? -

With only 5 tags permitted, and my using Closed Captions, I must choose between my identities for the other 4 slots. I want people to be able to find me under all my identities, not just 4 of them.
Please increase the limit or do not impose one for identity tags by making them separate.

I don't want to choose between which of my identities to stream, or choose which of my identities to exclude. The current system would hamper my ability to connect with other identities I belong to. It should be increased to 10 or more.
