Increase amount of tags
With the increase in available tags, it would be wonderful to be able to pick more than 5 tags.
Could we get an increase in the amount of possible tags, so we don't have to struggle over which tags we want to go with? Like say, 10?

This just makes sense. People aren't just one or two things. People are many things, and they should be able to show all of them on Twitch.

An increase or at least allowing mental health and accessibility tags to not take away from the tag count is necessary. Accessibility and mental health should not take away from other identities and tags as they are a part of an equitable and accessible life in general.

yeah, with the introduction of identity tags, it makes things awfully difficult. I couldn't possibly tag all of my content with the relevant content tags on top of my identity tags, so I often don't use identity tags or generalize for convenience sake, which is very frustrating

Differentiating content and identity tags would be great. Either way, more than 5 would be appreciated. It was difficult to limit to 5 before, it is impossible now.

While I love the new identity tags I still feel constrained. I'm androgyne but I also use trans and enby when talking about my gender. Why force me to choose which one to use? That doesn't help validate me or help my stream discovery at all.

A lot of great new identity tags were added, but streamers are still limited to adding only five tags to their stream.
As a trans streamer, it's important to me that I get across my identity (both to establish who I am and advertise myself as a safe space), but it also equally important that I am able to emphasize if a game is being played for the first time, or if backseating is/isn't allowed. I don't disagree that there should be some kind of limit on the amount of tags that can be applied, but the current limit feels a little outdated based on how many options we now have. If it could be bumped up a little bit, to like 7-10, I think a lot of streamers would benefit, as those tags are some of the first things a viewer might see to learn about the stream.
As an aside, thank you so much for all the great new identity-based tags. <3

YES PLEASE GIVE US MORE TAGS!

To address most of the things brought up in the announcement stream, separate "content tags" from "identity tags" and have different limits for each. That way streamers can describe who they are and what they're covering, and there would be a clear delineation between "I'm talking about queer issues" vs. "I am queer", for example.

350 new tags but can still only have 5? Stop and think about that. People are complex!
Identity tags should be in account settings so you can have as many of your identities linked to your stream as you wish, but can still have your 5 tags to describe the stream content. The language tags work that way, why not the identity/disability tags?
Let us represent ourselves in our entirety so that viewers can find streams that fit their interests. -

With the addition of 350+ new identifiable tags, 5 tag slots does not provide enough detail about the stream and the streamer.
Please increase the tag limit, or having a separate personal identity tags category (Example: profile tags) with addition to a stream tags category would be better to be able to accommodate the new tags additions.

Definitely needs an increase on the tag limits. I've seen writing sites offer a higher number than 5 and it's highly beneficial. It'd not only help the streamer be more selective, but it'd help viewers find content better suited to them.

The idea of 5 tags for stream content and 5 tags for identity is a non-starter IMO.
For instance, I'd be using 'LGBTQIA+', 'Transgender', 'Non-binary', 'Disabled', 'Visually Impared', and 'Autism', which puts me at six, and only one for stream content ('Vtuber').
I think it's evident that identity tags involve much more use for specificity/accuracy than the existing five tag limit.

Please increase the tag Amount twitch
....I shouldn't have to pick and chose a small level of identifiers! 10 is more than enough and gives us flexibility -

10 tags would be amazing. I love the new identifying tags but I pretty much always use the same 5 to describe my streams, so having more space for self identifying tags would be ideal. ♡

If we could have streamer identity tags (that don't get removed randomly) as a separate category that don't have a limit, and then keep the 5 limit for the stream content related tags. We'd be less likely to need to change our identity tags so they could be on our profile dashboard or something.

10 would be great, or keep 5 for game specific stuff (first playthrough, no spoilers, etc) and then have a separate area or cap for ones related to community and identity because those won't change anywhere near as often.

I'm going to assume that the reason for this is that five was the limit for tags before the addition of the 350+ new identity tags and the assumption was nobody would use more than five stream-identifying tags like "No Spoilers" or "Speedrun" unless they were spamming.
I am a heterosexual white cisgender English-speaking able-bodied American male. And even *I* hit four identity tags going off the new list before even considering game or stream specific ones. This limit needs to be increased as soon as possible.
