There's a ton of great dancers out there that would greatly benefit from stuff like this. Heck, there's people going around to real life competitions to either compete or watch, but because there isn't an actual category for dancing, it's hard for people to find stuff like that, and the dancers and the event itself doesn't get nearly enough recognition for how big they are. There's also an unfairness to not having it either since Just Chatting and VR itself has so many people flooding into it that finding new dancers that stream is nearly impossible to find since recommendations just go straight to only the highest/higher viewer count streamers. Plus, how are you gonna add a heckin' bathtub and ASMR stream but not dancing? Kind of seems a bit backwards in my opinion

Yes a category that will be able to help grow twitch dance scene and have a new burst of opportunities to twitch, especially with all the events that dancers over the world and classes by pros it would be **** to have that kind of content on twitch for people to see and give support to.

I'd go even further and add all the categories: Breakdance, Hip-Hop, Popping, Locking, House, Wacking etc all that good stuff

We really need a dedicated dancing category on Twitch since otherwise most dancers have been having to either use the category of the VR game they are in or default to "Just Chatting" which is oversaturated with so much content that's all over the place that it's not good for discovery without using the various dancing tags which often times are used on streams that don't have anything to do with actual dancing.

Lets pray having this tag allows your streams to be unmuted 🙏

I can see this as a thing. ‪I could also see this as another platform where users may find out about irl dance events while meeting other dancers during streams. Introducing new dancers to others already active in the dance community, learning more about the culture, where things came from, etc. not just trending viral fads, but really developing a passion and respect for the art.

A proper dance category would be huge for all dancers, IRL and VR.

There is a huge demand for dance content on the internet (helloooo Tiktok, anyone?) and having a category for this on a major streaming platform such as Twitch would help drive up viewership in general. It may bring a whole new audience to twitch, dancers / dance appreciators, who may not have been into gaming/other aspects of twitch. Excited at the potential of this idea!!!

This is a fantastic idea to showcase the dancers. But please, for the love of everything holy, this needs to be implemented with sub-categories FROM THE START to weed out the half-naked e-girls from taking over Dance like they did to ASMR.

There are a lot of dancers that stream dance on Twitch, but without a dance category it is really difficult to find other dance streamers and grow the Twitch dance community, through raids and browsing. A dance category would be transformative! I really would love to see it be added!

We need a dance category. Twitch has so much potential for people to busk online. There's performers doing it now and many are really talented. We need more of them. Twitch should be promoting this!

I'll go one even further. Let's have a category for belly dancing as well (for either those who practice and perform it... or those who use it for exercise purposes. You know, hosting streams where people can learn the moves via belly dance classes).

It was so awesome to get the Flow Arts tag & getting this category would be amazing.
