Hey all!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve rolled out the new Creative directory today!

As we mentioned before, the Creative directory features creators in our artistic categories including Art, Beauty & Body Art, Food & Drink, Makers & Crafting, and Software & Game Development. This will make it easier for both viewers that want to discover creators in these categories and creators looking to find and connect with others who stream creative content.

We expect these directories to continue to grow over time, so please keep the ideas coming. And if you believe an existing category is missing from this list, please let us know.

Thank you for all your feedback and as always we look forward to more of it. We’re looking forward to seeing you, your communities, and your creativity in the new directory!

    Miniature Painting. It's got a pretty devoted and great community on twitch already but could really use some support

    It would be great if you could also add the following categories to the directory:
    -Dance performance
    -Performance arts
    -Flow arts category

    There are a loving group of streamers that are amazing in performance dancing and arts, and they deserve a category of their own as well.

    Dance performance / performance arts / Flow arts category pls twitch! we need our space, dancing at just chatting or music kinda of makes no sense :(

    You guys think you could add a space for Video Editing and FX, feel like it'd easier to separate from "Just Chatting" or technology

    ASMR would definitely fit within a creative directory. It is a highly creative category that would fit very well in the creative directory. Many ASMRtists also combine the ASMR aspect with traditional art, music, body art and more.

    I’ve always had difficulty finding where my coffee-making streams should be categorized on twitch. Also IRL needs its own category outside of just chatting

    There's a growing community of Lego/Brick Builders that use the "Brick Building" tag - we'd love to see a cateogry specifically for that sort of content.

    would love to see tags for different types of crafting.....scrapbooking, crochet, knitting, journals, painting, etc.

    The main feature I want from this is to be able to go to one directory and see everything related to cosplay, whether someone is 3d modeling, painting, sewing, doing a makeup look, etc. So as long as you can go to this and filter by things tagged with cosplay, it'll be a huge win in my book.

    Would be nice a separate Directory for Just Chatting, Politics, Special Events, Talkshows & Podcasts. To incentive the use of the other category instead of only "Just Chatting".

    We know there is an art ‘category’ people in the comments, they want an art ‘directory’, pls know the difference
