So many authors stream while writing or to talk about their books. In Germany alone we have a community of 100+ streaming authors.

"Writing & Books" would be amazing

Writing & Books would be great! There are so many writers streaming and it would be great to have an own category to connect with and find more people!

More and more authors are active on Twitch, we already have over 100 streaming authors in our German community who stream regularly and we are getting more and more. Having a separate category for books and writing would be great!

Alone in our German author network we have 100+ authors and Thousands of views of writers are lost in "art" and other categories.

I miss the category writing. There are several authors who stream specifically when they are writing, often chatting only during short breaks.

I clearly miss the category Writing.

As previously said, I, too, would wish for a writing category. (And perhaps also a different category for reading? Because I have a hard time looking for co-reading streams and I simply can't believe I'm the only one who would need a stream similar to co-working for reading.)

Also, are there categories for topics surrounding disability? Whenever I search for streams like that, I only find gaming (and mostly completely inaccessible games where even the preview already gives me nausea), and no streams that actually educate about disability or give disabled people a platform to connect.)

Bitte Bücher & Schreiben als Kategorie. Das wird dringend benötigt, da die Autor*innenbubble immer weiter wächst.

As previously suggested: please make books & writing their own categories!
Writers and books have been part of twitch before but due to COVID there has been a bigger move towards twitch to connect with readers and other writers through streaming or reading or talking about books.
But we are lost and sometimes get trolls or outright for streaming in other categories such as Just Chatting or Art - since what we are doing is not exactly visual art.

Thousands of views of writers are lost in "art" and other categories. Sometimes we get hate for streaming in a catagory but without one... we are invisible.

We have over 100 authors alone in our German author network, there are many more. Please.

Please can we have a photography category for our growing community!!!

Fiber Arts is a tag but what about a Fiber Arts category under the Creative Directory? There are a lot of us out here crocheting, knitting, needle-felting, embroidering, cross-stitching, needle-punching, sewing, quilting, weaving, beading, tatting, naalbinding, spinning...

We definitely already have a pretty established community of viewers and I think that having a whole category dedicated to fiber arts would just make it easier for people to find all of us.

a cosplay crafting category would be neat

Having 3D modeling (for things like blender, Vroid, etc.) as a category would be really cool, I think! I see a lot of people doing that in Art or even Just Chatting, so having a space for them to be found easier would be pog!

physical crafting, like glassblowing, blacksmithing and woodworking. programming split into previously streamed programming languages. game design/ level design: and scriptwriting/authors, game asset artists. also keep up the hard work! you've made many dreams happen.
