Exclusion list of tags when browsing
I love being able to browse when I'm bored, but I would love to see an option to exclude (and save) certain tags.
For example: "Sports game"
I know that I will never be interested in Sports games, so having the option to exclude those would be so much easier than clicking each and every sports game to go "Not interested".
Of course there would need to be an option to see and edit such a saved list, so people could remove tags from their exclusion list if they change their minds.

Comes down to this. I really don't care what Amouranth does on her stream, but I am tired of seeing her stream recommended. That is just not my thing, so it would be great not to see those content providers in my searches and recommendations. I don't want them banned. I don't want their content removed. I just don't want the channels displayed in my results list. I see this as a win win option.

Please consider adding two filters to all Recommendation and Channel Search features that would allow the viewer to identify categories they wish to see and include or exclude specific tags from their search results. Also include an "opt-out" feature for each channel preventing the channel from returning in search results and recommendations.
Use Case
I want to see new streams that interest me. While I do not care if a content provider offers "Pools, Hot Tubs" I would prefer not to see them in my recommendations or on searches. The filter option would allow me to identify, by checkbox, categories I wish my search query to include. I am also offered a box where I can list comma-separated tags to exclude or include in the results.
As I search I discover 3 channels that I just don't care for. I check the opt-out page checkbox preventing the page from appearing in search results.
Search results will need an "Include opt-out" page option in case someone desires to revisit a page they previously opted out from.
Business Case
Allows end-users who do not wish to see specific content, such as hot tubs, from having the content presented to them.
Allows end-users who wish to see specific content to refine their recommendations and search in order to offer content more in line with their desire. -

I don't even care about if they have cam I just don't want a ton of game real estate taken up by a cartoon.

Instead of having to input every single tag trying to narrow down streams on more popular games. Can we have something that makes it so we can also select tags we aren't interested in seeing in some sort of filter bar on the side of the search page?
An example would be say World of Warcraft it's still popularish.
It's a pain to hand type out all of those filtering tags that will only show channels with that tag (english, horde, pve, casual, vtuber) etc. when I could also filter it by just having all channels that have a "pvp" tag hidden etc. and that way channels without hundreds of tags on don't get ignored either.
tldr: let me hide tags i'm not interested in to debloat the several thousand active streams, To find what I actually feel like watching.

This would make it a lot easier to find streams you want to watch. It's easier to eliminate the things you don't want than it is to think of all the things you do want.

You'll never get this feature because Twitch wants to help force things like LGBTQIA+ on everybody even if the users don't want to see it.

For a lot of viewers, like myself, twitch is a great way to get some human interaction while at home, and especially after this past year, it provides some much needed feeling of contact even without being face-to-face. I would like to request the ability to filter out VTubers or add a tag for non-VTubers or something similar, because there are so many of them, and for viewers like myself, we have no interest in watching an animated model speak, we want to watch real people.
VTubers have carved out their niche and that's wonderful, but if we can search for them specifically I'd like to be able to search for their opposite.

Just wanting to double check I understand what you mean. You mean instead of searching for only streams that have a tag only search for streams that do not have a tag.
An exclusive search instead of an inclusive search. -

I mainly watch Twitch for gaming so I am generally not interested in a lot of these new tags. Being able to filter some of them out would be very useful. As a Roman Catholic, the LGBTQIA+ tag, and other related tags, represent what is contrary to my morals, and I generally want to avoid environments that support it.

i didnt see the this idea so i post, idk why there still is no posibility to search without specific tag. If there are tags and u can search for them, there should be already option to search without them, it sometimes is more usefull searching option then searching with specific tagtag

With the new batch of tags came a new problem and that's finding tags to use to mark your stream with.
I don't necessarily know the names for the tags that I might find appropriate for my stream, especially when switching to a game I haven't played yet on Twitch, and so I tend to scroll through the list of tags. The ~350 new tags make up around 50% of all usable tags and makes this process quite tedious.
What would be nice is tag groupings besides just Stream, Category, and Automatic on the list of tags that can be toggled on or off since, as it stands, Stream is the only set that actually can be applied and therefore the only ones worth searching through. Having this capability in the Stream Manager would also be very helpful since there is less screen space devoted to it and the descriptions are only available as tooltips.

Please, allow people like me who want to block streamers with specific tags like: LGBTQA+, all sorts of mental illnesses, ASMR, BLM, etc. I want to remove all these people from my recommendations and don't want them to show up in my feed.

There should be a way to permanently remove tags from view. Such as "politics" or etc.

Fully agree, because even the bowser extension that does this can't see the full list of tags on every stream, only the ones that show up in the one line on directory pages. It'd be very useful to have this functionality in the mobile apps as well.

Following the upcoming change with new tags, I want to filter out tags when opening up the category.
Not filter them in. For example. I don't wanna watch speedruns of dark souls but other kinds of streams. So allows us to filter streams out.aka. I open the category. I select not interested and set tags I don't want to see.

Hello, Twitch Team!
As of lately I've started to feel the need of being able to selectively disallow specific tags that either turn me off or I've got no interest in them whatsoever. It seems that no matter how many times I try to sift out channels with certain stamps more content creators with such labels take their place and even though I've allowed cookies they don't seem to be able to determine what I like and what I don't based on the "Not Interested" option I quite frankly happen to use more and more these days.
The same goes for categories. I'd like to be able to manually block categories as well as tags associated with stuff I don't really care about.
If you could maybe implement some feature/features that pick up my interests and don't allow channels with certain tags to pop up constantly in my Twitch feed that would be awesome.
I hope that you'll take my suggestion into account or at least give me feedback on how to do it myself without any of you having to go through the trouble of doing more changes to the platform. Thanks in advance!
