Exclusion list of tags when browsing
I love being able to browse when I'm bored, but I would love to see an option to exclude (and save) certain tags.
For example: "Sports game"
I know that I will never be interested in Sports games, so having the option to exclude those would be so much easier than clicking each and every sports game to go "Not interested".
Of course there would need to be an option to see and edit such a saved list, so people could remove tags from their exclusion list if they change their minds.

Absolutely would love to be able to block VTuber and Followers Only Chat tags, I don't stick around for either unless I directly went to a channel linked from off the site.

A much needed feature. I need a keyword blacklist. At the very least, I don't want to see the "russian" tag that attacked my country.

Not just tags but game categories too.
If I look for new streamers I want it to filter out all streamers playing Fortnite or Path of Exile for example.

would be great if i could also filter out "follower-only chat" as well not even worth the click. great for them to have it but i'm not ever going to follow to chat.

I still can't filter out tags i not want recommended or autoplaying when i come visit the page. The only option i see is to do it seperate for each channel and then it still does not work for autoplaying in the top.
Right now i often get bombarded by lewd and political content, i come here to enjoy gaming streams and not want to have some moaning furry autoplaying as soon i get on the website. -

Discoverability is already a huge problem on Twitch. Limiting searches to one tag makes it nearly impossible to find new channels that actually match what I'm looking for, and I've seen multiple streamers post that their viewer count tanked with this change.

We use to be able to search with multiple tags and I'd really like to here why Twitch got rid of this feature last March. I don't understand why this was changed to limit us to only 1 tag filtering.
I too am very specific to which streams I like to watch. I tend to use the LGBTQIA+ filter along with the genre of games I want to watch.. Example "LGBTQIA, Horror, Vtuber" would be the tags I'd like to use in this situation.
Being unable to use multiple tags only hurts streamers and viewers, not helping them.

Increase amount of filtering tags that can be added in for those who want to search for precises cayegories of games or channels.

1. add a filter to the followed section so i dont have to scroll down over and over
2. remember my filters so i dont have to set them over and over
3. remove followed from browse OR add an indication as to wether they are followedplease and thank you

Yeah I am a very specific twitch streamer that plays minecraft with viewers in a survival world on bedrock edition. So I used to filter by playing with viewers, survival mode, pvp and stuff like that. I was nowhere the top of any of those categories individually but if you ever paired any 2 of those together I was almost always in the top 10-20 streamers. So this change has literally tanked my viewership and followers per stream and pretty much killed my stream. So I really hope they change it back or my streaming career has probably been cut a lot shorter than I would have hoped. :-(

We should be able to filter by multiple tags in the Browse section so we can find specific communities instead of having to dive through these massive lists.
It would narrow things down so much.

Need a way to block certain tags. For example, I cannot stand vtubers, would very much like to not have to see them in my recommendations ever again, yet no matter how many of these stupid things I mark as not interested I keep getting them popping up in recommendations. Please give users the options to completely block tags we have no interest in seeing.

Another thing that this would do is encourage streamers to only have valid tags in their stream. Right now, there's no incentive to not just spam out tags. If there were the ability to screen out content via tag, then people wouldn't do that to avoid being accidentally screened out.
Also, there's a duplicate suggestion in another section.

Some of the more useful tags, like language, tend to get hidden in large groups of them. Being able to decide which types of tags are visible would help with that.

Block unwanted tags or channels or categories from showing.
We live in 21st century if u haven't noticed. People expect to have blacklist option on their filters. -

Comes down to this. I really don't care what Amouranth does on her stream, but I am tired of seeing her stream recommended. That is just not my thing, so it would be great not to see those content providers in my searches and recommendations. I don't want them banned. I don't want their content removed. I just don't want the channels displayed in my results list. I see this as a win win option.

Please consider adding two filters to all Recommendation and Channel Search features that would allow the viewer to identify categories they wish to see and include or exclude specific tags from their search results. Also include an "opt-out" feature for each channel preventing the channel from returning in search results and recommendations.
Use Case
I want to see new streams that interest me. While I do not care if a content provider offers "Pools, Hot Tubs" I would prefer not to see them in my recommendations or on searches. The filter option would allow me to identify, by checkbox, categories I wish my search query to include. I am also offered a box where I can list comma-separated tags to exclude or include in the results.
As I search I discover 3 channels that I just don't care for. I check the opt-out page checkbox preventing the page from appearing in search results.
Search results will need an "Include opt-out" page option in case someone desires to revisit a page they previously opted out from.
Business Case
Allows end-users who do not wish to see specific content, such as hot tubs, from having the content presented to them.
Allows end-users who wish to see specific content to refine their recommendations and search in order to offer content more in line with their desire. -

Instead of having to input every single tag trying to narrow down streams on more popular games. Can we have something that makes it so we can also select tags we aren't interested in seeing in some sort of filter bar on the side of the search page?
An example would be say World of Warcraft it's still popularish.
It's a pain to hand type out all of those filtering tags that will only show channels with that tag (english, horde, pve, casual, vtuber) etc. when I could also filter it by just having all channels that have a "pvp" tag hidden etc. and that way channels without hundreds of tags on don't get ignored either.
tldr: let me hide tags i'm not interested in to debloat the several thousand active streams, To find what I actually feel like watching.

This would make it a lot easier to find streams you want to watch. It's easier to eliminate the things you don't want than it is to think of all the things you do want.
