create categories for ur own following channels
wanna group the following channels with my own browsing preference (e.g. by games, by teams etc), since it's hard to locate/browse them when I am following 100+ channels...
I was going to say the same. I think that a lot of users follow a high number of streamers and sometimes sliding all the way down till you find one in specific can be tedious. However, adding folders where each person can categorize its a simple way to fix it.
still not fixed? even the multiple "show more" clicks are getting annoying now
Hi Twitch instead of sorting the followed channels by viewcount or who you watch the most, give people the option on how they want to sort their follow list whether it be watch activity, viewer count high/low or low/high. It'll give each person freedom on how they use this platform.
I would really like to be able to use folders in my list of streamers, to categorize with the game are or what streamers are a priority.
Sorry my English is trash
It was better and easier when the Followed Channels list was auto sorted by viewer count. Now its stuck on mixed and doesn't look and feel right.
Add a feature to the sidebar panel to allow us to categorize the streamers we follow into "folders" that we can collapse/uncollapse similar to Discord server features. Some of us follow a LOT of people and if we are looking to watch a certain kind of content it can be frustrating to go through the whole list to find what we're looking for.
I would love to see a favorite list. Some of my favorite streamers aren't at the top and having to continue to scroll through my favorites to see if they are live can be annoying. I would like my "favorites" on the top of my list.
I was thinking about this, great idea
I have and idea (optional) ( hope this is the right place to post) Its like a folder system for the channel you folllow ( and subscribe ) so they dont get all mixed up ! For example you follow 15 streamers ( no matter how much viewers they have ) that you watch everytime they are on. 20 you watch sometimes ! 10 are only stream League of Legends etc. So you sort them into folders( your own categories ) for better management and own navigation !
I'm amazed such an obvious QOL change had not been implemented. Just let users choose how to organize their followed Channels. It's annoying enough to have to dig via web browser or app. It's even worse navigating on the Twitch app on an Apple TV (and I presume any other TV UI). Such a basic ask (whether simple to implement or not), that it should really have been avail years ago.
I have edited the Reddit post to sound more professional. I wish the uservoice had the option to edit the proposals.
Ex. people that play gta role play you can put in a group and people that play certain games you can put them in a category.
Yes, custom tags (I could sort my followed channels by general genre played by the streamer)
I second this! Could be realized by adding a star icon to the followed panel for each streamer (common method).
Add the ability to add specific streamers to a "favorites" list that will appear at the top of your followed channels. You would be able to have 5-10 "favorite" streamers and since they're all at the top of your followed channels list, you'll easily be able to see if they are live.
I completely agree. Just like youtube, at least the order should be most viewed *by me* or alphabet. It's super annoying to look for my favorite streamers every time on the list.
Make @Critternation3000 words as if it was mine. I think is a really good idea.
Have the choice to organize the streamers you follow either by name or game being played. Instead of just viewers.
There needs to be some way to pin favorites, or sort by different things such as most recent vod, most watched, even alphabetical would be better than just "most viewers." My favorite streams are the smaller ones. I hate having to scroll down, click view more, and then scroll down even MORE just to find the channels I watch EVERY DAY.
having more control over what is shown under the Followed Channels would be idea mainly becuase it will allow you to still show support for channels by keeping a follow on them even though you may not watch them as much as others instead of having to every now and then go and un-follow a load of people just to clean up that list.
