Allow users to create taxonomies/categories to sort streamers they follow.
I would like to be able to sort the streamers I follow into different categories, perhaps based on a taxonomy system. For instance, I follow a lot of Rocket League streamers, I also follow a lot of Zelda streamers, and I follow a lot of musicians. I would like to be able to tag these streamers. So I may tag Rocket League streamers with: "Rocket League," "Games," "Funny," etc. And I may tag music streamers with "Original Music," "Covers," "Funny," etc. Then when I go to my follow page, I could easily sort and display streamers I am in the mood to look at.
In the example above, to take it further, if I clicked "Funny," I would see Rocket League and Music streamers who I've tagged as "Funny," and that's fine with me.
To take it even further, perhaps I could even choose to view other viewers' recommended tags (it could be like the Recommended section at the bottom of the follow page currently), to discover new "Rocket League" streamers or "Original Music" streamers, etc.
Thanks!

Yes please. The first people I followed are the ones I watch most often, and I always have to click show more twice to get to them and watch VOD's if I missed a recent stream. It's 100% a first world problem, but it's pretty standard in other platforms.

As someone continues to watch twitches, he/she will follow a variety of streamers. This will lengthen his/her follow list and clutter your "Followers channel" banner. How do you introduce category-based sorting of your follow-up list to improve this? -

Its 2019 and this should be implemented!

It's 2018 - this should've been implemented like 1 million years ago!

This is necessary, sometimes I have to spend half a minute looking though offline channels to find the channel that has a vod I want to watch. we should be able to pin favourite channels to the top of the list, or order them manually.

Add a favorite section. Following isn't something special anymore. We need a way to highlight our favorite streamers. Top of the list having a section for favorites would do this for us.

I hate having a set order to my follow list. Being able to organize them how I want should be the way to go.

Yes please! I really need the possibility to sort the channels the way I want or at least I want to see my favorite streamers on top!

I want it to be set by 'the order I want'.

yeah it would be great to have a "favorites" category for my most liked channels, so I dont have to go through all my other followed channels!

I'd love to see the the option of letting Twitch users make customized categories for their "Followed Channels" list. Would be a quality of life improvement. Here are a few examples:
- Channels you moderate
- Channels you are subscribed to
- Channels in a certain streamer community
- Channels in a certain gamer category
- Channels based on region -

I think this is a great idea and came here to post it. Voting instead!
Sharing curated streamer lists would be a good social feature as well.

I would love if we all could have to option to categorize those we follow into folders (we can name), or sub-divisions. So then the 300 + I follow or others do, can locate who they want a lot faster when going to raid/host/find.

Mine are in no recognizable order, I would love to to be able to put them in ANY order!

I'd like to be able to create groups and then put channels into each group on my channels page. Kinda like GMail does for e-mails. For example, I could create an IRL group and put all the IRL steamers I follow into that single group, or put all my League of Legend streamers into a different group. So when scrolling for something I can watch everything will be organised.

Hello, I would really like this function added. Please create subfolders similar to how things work using a CMS like Outlook or Workamjig / JIRA. I have amassed many people I follow and subscribe too. Some I met through HotS, others at networking events like Twitch Texas or Blizzcon.
Allow the user to customize the subfolders and perhaps set a limit for twitch prime membership?

I'd like to extend this idea.
I'd love to be able to filter streams by their games played (e.g. hide streams playing games I dislike) or hide them completely (e.g. streams that stream 24/7 with high viewer count).

The "following" page, e.g. https://www.twitch.tv/directory/following/live , is already very useful, but if you follow a lot of channels it's sometimes ab bit messy to go through all and see who is playing what.
My suggestion: Allow people to create categories and and add their followed channels to these.
Example:
I create a category called "Zelda" and put in all my favourite speedrunners. Another category could be called "Hearthstone" or "Variety" for other streamers. This would provide in my point of view a more clean overview.
