Fix the Lobotomy Corporation category Similar to what happened to with the Touhou category, Lobotomy Corporation originally had a category called "Lobotomy Corporation | Monster Management Simulation".
For reasons unknown, this has now been renamed to "Corporation" which makes no sense.
Could this category be put back to the original name, or at least Lobotomy Corporation?

Merge Deus Ex: "Human Revolution", "Missing Link" and "Director's Cut" With the release of the Directors Cut, the original Human Revolution has been made obsolete (No longer available on platforms such as Steam). Further more the Directors Cut includes the Standalone DLC "Deus Ex: Human Revolution - The Missing Link".
Therefore I propose the merging of
"Deus Ex: Human Revolution - The Missing Link" and
"Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut"
under
"Deus Ex: Human Revolution"2 votesWe do not generally support game bundles, such as the Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut and so this is not a category that we would add on Twitch.
In addition, we consider The Missing Link to be a standalone expansion pack that does not need the original game to play, and therefore will maintain that game’s separate category as well.
For these reasons, we will maintain the two separate categories as they exist today.

Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni Beginning around this month I started streaming a game called "Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni", its the PS2 version of the Original Dreamcast game "Sakura Taisen" known to be a Japan-exclusive. When I began to stream the game I had no problem finding the correct category being the name of the game itself as I mentioned (Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni). Please re-add Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 as a Category Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is considered more than just a "remake" by almost all of the MK and Fighting game community. It deserves its own category and should be re-added.
People who want to watch UMK3, do not want to watch MK3 and vice versa. There was no reason to remove it in the first place.

Ultra Street Fighter IV The category is removed. If you're going to remove versions of Street FIghter 4, Remove Street Fghter IV, Super Street Fighter IV, and KEEP Ultra Street Fighter IV. as it is the active, and most current version of the game, that also allows you to play previous versions of characters within it. Re add "Persona 4: Golden" as a game; remove "Persona 4: Golden Solid Gold Premium Edition" as a game "Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4" is not the same as "Persona 4: Golden", even if the games are largely similar. Persona 4: Golden adds new content, characters, etc., and one of the characters is re-dubbed. In addition, it makes zero sense to have the limited edition of a game be its own separate category, when the regular edition isn't.

Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike Someone removed the "Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike" from the categories when creating a new stream. It still comes up as a result in the main search bar, so I can find old or current live broadcasts using it.
It looks like it was replaced with "Street Fighter III: Double Impact", which is not even a game that exists.

Merge the Pokemon titles back together Please merge the Pokemon games back together. There should be no reason why the games should be even MORE fragmented than they already are. (Ex: Sword, Shield, and Sword/Shield Dual Pack are all separate categories. Why?) This completely destroys discoverability for the community. Things like this just make users lose faith in Twitch when they preach working on discoverability & search functionality for it's users.
Or even better, create one franchise category for Pokemon (and other franchises) like others have suggested here.
102 votesSorry for all the confusion with this. We’ve recombined and restored Pokémon titles by generation. There may continue to be a handful of strange bundles in the system (example: Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield Double Pack), however we will be removing those as well. Thanks for your patience!

Unmerge All Remakes in the Directory With a recent update, Twitch merged all remakes of games in the directory with its original game for whatever reason. Now remakes of popular franchises such as Legend of Zelda, Resident Evil, etc. are all fighting over visibility in the same directory. This is also a problem for remakes of games that have completely different names from its original game, such as Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land, the remake of Kirby's Adventure for NES released on GBA, who's directory is now completely gone because ????

1,328 votesUpdate: we are now able to support a handful of new game types from IGDB, including remakes, remasters, expanded games, and forks – all new game types that have been introduced on IGDB (see the updated documentation at https://github.com/twitchtv/igdb-contribution-guidelines/wiki/Type)
This means that we can now restore nearly all of the titles that have been reported missing in this suggestion, and we are working to do so!

Virtual Avatar Tag for Vstreamers/Vtubers The rise of the VR industry and the relatively new phenomenon of Virtual Streamers and Virtual Youtubers has made impact on sites like Twitch as well. There is a very large (800+ and growing) community of streamers on twitch who use a virtual avatar combined with face tracking software to use instead of webcams. VR is already a tag, but it would be nice to distinguish this category for those who use avatars and may play the role of a character. (like HoloLive, for example) It's not much different than having Anime as a tag, for example.

Super excited to share that we now have a “Vtuber” tag on Twitch!
In the past I had posted on how tags were aimed at the stream and not the streamer, but we have changed our thinking on this as of today and added more than 350 new tags, including this one.
Changes like this are possible because of feedback and threads like this so I just wanted to say thank you again for sharing feedback with us.

Change "Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos" to "Warcraft III" Since the release of Warcraft3 - Reforged earlier this year, Reign of Chaos is no longer a standalone game. It's all merge in Warcraft3 Reforged.
Would be great to have it changed

Consider Flow Arts "Flow Arts": As the current world condition has taken us from previous live festivals and performance, many Flow Artists and Dancers are turning to virtual and broadcasted live performances of their talents. Traditionally, we as dancers, hula-hoop performers, jugglers, poi spinners and other similar disciplines, have had to gravitate towards the "Music & Performance Art" category. (With no specific tag identifying us as with Flow Artists, nor dancers). Now that Twitch has adjusted back to "Music" as the original category, we have migrated to "just chatting"; it doesn't really identify our community at all, among others that actually do feature…

I would love a TRIVIA category, or at least a tag. I run my own trivia games and feel like Just Chatting is the only place for it, even though that's really NOT a good place for it.

Linux Tag Support for games on Linux can be inconsistent, and it's really helpful to be able to see how well a game runs on the OS when making purchasing decisions. A way to easily find other people streaming on Linux would be a boon.
