Re-add Mutli Tag Filtering Please reintroduce multi tag filters. Currently as it stands you can only search for channels with one language tag and one other tag. Previously on pc you were able to search for channels with as many tags filtered as you wanted. This feature was also available on mobile until recently.

タグのlocalize Today Twich tags were changed from English to katakana.
I want it back to the way it was.
From a Japanese point of view, it looks odd.
League of Legends is League of Legends, Valorant is Valorant in Japan.48 votes -
Increase amount of tags With the increase in available tags, it would be wonderful to be able to pick more than 5 tags.
Could we get an increase in the amount of possible tags, so we don't have to struggle over which tags we want to go with? Like say, 10?

ONLINE CO OP Cooperative
Online co-op is a type of multiplayer game mode where players work together towards some goal against a non-player enemy12. Online co-op means that players can connect to each other or a host server over the internet1, instead of being in the same physical location. Co-op is short for cooperative2. PLEASE ADD THIS AND LISTEN LIKE DJKAHLED TO ME ?1 vote -
Allow VODs to be searched by tag If I search for "Love2D"
https://www.twitch.tv/search?term=Love2D
I only see current live streams or VODs with that term in the title,
I should also be able to see VODs that were tagged with that tag.
e.g. if I go to: https://www.twitch.tv/directory/all/tags/Love2D
Presumably this is because VODs don't store the tags that were set during the stream, so this information isn't currently available to search on, but it would be useful to be able to search for content if you could find older VODs and highlights by tags.

DisabilityAwareness "DisabilityAwareness" should be a usable tag. It signifies the channel shows a particular importance for issues and topics regarding people with disabilities. As it stands, Twitch doesn't allow its use due to some automatic moderation. Why is DisabilityAwareness moderated out? Could this be fixed?
Thank you.
3 votesWhere is this moderated out? When testing this, I was able to add the tag to my stream info. Please let me know. Thanks.

Row of clickable tags on each page This will make it a lot quicker and easier to use tags. Currently we can only search for them manually which is time consuming and cumbersome. This feature already existed for a while in the Music directory until custom tags were introduced and broke it. There used to be a "Browse by Trending Genres" row at the top of the page. Turn that into a global feature to show on all pages, but for tags instead of genres, and let viewers choose between favorite tags, recently/frequently used tags, and recommended/suggested tags. Should probably avoid showing trending/popular tags just to keep…

Custom Tag suggestions need to be standardized The autofill is utterly useless because it shows pretty much every iteration that anyone has ever used. This means misspellings, multiple different versions of what should be one tag, anything you start to put in brings up way too many options.
The tag suggestions need to be a smaller set so that people end up using the same tag as each other and are actually searchable once again. The large list of tags that we had is a great place to start, especially as we can still ignore the suggestions and type our own things.
Otherwise, these suggestions really don't…17 votes -
Make identity & accessibility tags permanent/toggleable. Don't count towards the 5 tag limit. Allow streamers to set their identity tags & accessibility tags (captions etc) and forget about them without them resetting after the time period.
These can then not count towards the 5 tag limit which can be used to describe the content of the stream. Identity rarely changes, so allow them to be toggleable by the streamer. Most people who will use these tags will want to be able to show off their entire identity as well as their other content tags so this would be a great way to do that! It also allows streamers to show off their accessibility…

Have a Space between mulit word custom tags Please give us the option to have a space in formatting for custom tags, so they don't all appear as one word. As someone who is visually impaired, this is very difficult to read when multi word tags are not spaced out.

Make umbrella tags like "LGBTQIA+" apply automatically Already at launch we are seeing how the new 350+ identity tags can fracture communities. Streamers who used to be able to be found using the "LGBTQIA+" tag are opting to use the more specific tags within that spectrum making it harder to find them if you don't know which specific tag to look for.
If a user applies a tag like "trans", "********", "gay", etc their stream should automatically have the "LGBTQIA+" tag applied to it. This change would allow streamers to represent their content through their identity while maintaining the strength of a larger community and increase discoverability…

Show all tags when searching channels under a category Whenever a person searches a category such as music, a game title, or whatever, one is presented with a list of Twitch streamers that are currently streaming under said category the viewer has chosen to search through.
Currently one is unable to view all the tags that are associated with a channel under a category one is search for unless selecting each streamer individually to view all of their assigned tags.
I would like the option under one's own account settings to enable all tags to be shown after selecting a category rather than having to individually view a streamer's…

Allow % Sign in Tags With the new tag system we lost special characters in tag names, most importantly the % sign. 100% is a very common stream tag, and for speedrunners many speedrunning categories also use the % sign (e.g. Any%, Low%) and it would be great if we could tag things properly. Right now we have to choose between a couple different unusual variations to get these (100, 100Percent, HundredPercent, Hundo, etc) which limits discoverability, especially since we can only have 10 tags.

Bring back tag presets in combination to the new tag system With the new tag system, streamers can have up to 10 tags and can write custom tags, while the old system only allowed for 5 tags picked from a list. This a huge improvement, however this change also brought a lot of downgrades that overall makes the system less useful for streamers and viewers.
With the old system, a new streamer or viewer can type keywords and Twitch shows suggestions from the list of preset tags. For streamers, this helps them discover what they could do to make their stream stand out and know what viewers may search for. For…

Any streamer that wishes to have an 18+ stream must have a tag or something in their title showing they are. I see a lot of 18+ only streamers not putting anything showing it’s an 18+ stream. So when a teenager watches them for a while and then says their age they get banned. Which can really hurt teenagers feelings especially if they enjoyed someone’s content.

Issues Filtering by Language I think something changed semi-recently, so that when you try to filter by language, it shows you literally exactly 100 options, but none of them are right, and often have different results. For example, when I try to filter channels in English in a Browse, the top 8 options are "ënglish" "englísh" "englis h" "ENGLISH" "engLish" "ENGlish" "englisH" What is the utility of this? How am I supposed to determine the correct one when there are 100 options? None of them just say "English"

Twitch should start gatekeeping stream tags. Lately there have been too many streamers misrepresenting their content with incorrect tags, using them only because the tags are popular and bring them more attention. These are streamers who ALREADY hold 99% of the viewership on Twitch, and they don't need to be stealing it from communities where they don't belong. This is unacceptable and I believe there need to be penalties for such actions.
Since Twitch refuses to suspend/ban their cash cows though, I propose an alternative solution. Implement a way to gatekeep them from using the tags. If they've been reported and investigated for tag misrepresentation and…
