Suggestion to grow small channels My suggestion is for the small channels and for those who are starting with Twitch. It is very difficult to start your community and that's why Twitch could implement a system in which viewers would be rewarded for watching channels that are with few viewers like 1 to 5 or 5 to 10...
These rewards could be an exclusive random emotes or 'Twitch Prime' of short duration (a few hours or days) in which viewers could choose their streamer to give a prime subscription or be able to exchange for bits to send your message.

18+ Toggle I believe 18+ belongs on Twitch; I have no problem with it being there. But, as a smaller streamer, to find me, you have to navigate tons of 18+ content.
There needs to be an explicit tab or easy setting to turn off an on that content (and "off" by default if you're not logged in). 18+ doesn't need to be hidden or harder to get to, but I do feel like it needs its own section. Right now, the art section shows up as "Baking Christmas cookies" "making a sculpture" and "how many **** can fit in this ****"…

Bringing lectures to twitch Hello Guys,
I am new on this developer board, however recently I had a small Idea that I would like to pitch to twitch and would be happy to assist in the implementation of such, as I do have the necessary contacts to do so.I noticed that this platform has been branching out and trying to reach more people with their contents (see creative).
I think it would be a good idea to implement lectures on different subjects as stream aswell. Here we could cooperate with different universitys (which mostly record their lectures) and their professors to get lectures…7 votes -
Language Flags Add little flags for the country of the the language the channel is in. Too many times have I entered a channel that looks entertaining and come to find out it's in a language that I don't understand. This would help a lot! :-)

Game Setup Tutorial videos for Streamers Essentially, a lot of streamers playing games during Variety periods, and this applies a lot to old games, tend to improperly setup the respective games (due to their age or certain things that have to be worked out). Not only that, a lot of streamers don't approach older games correctly, resulting in frustrations, chat backseating and overall an incomplete experience.
For example, Max Payne 3 is a very fickle game:
- It features controls that aren't explained to the player directly (G to roll, Ctrl to sprint, 1 2 3 4 for gun controls, H to switch shoulder),

Guild Since only Partners can run a Stream team, and since "communities" can't be shown on the stream page easily anymore. It'd be really good to have something like "Guild" or "Guild Play" or "Guilded Gaming" something along those lines to be able to denote a stream featuring Players from the same guild doing things. This would also allow guilds to showcase their gameplay and let people look at streams in a game that are featuring such gameplay to find guilds that they would mesh with personality wise!

Discoverability I have an idea for increasing Discoverability on the platform. Twitch already tracks what channels users already watch which then is used to recommend viewers to new "similar" channels that they might enjoy, but from my experience very few people actually take the initiative to go into their channel and watch. I think that for this approach to work you need to brute force people into trying out new streams by having a sort of "reward" system where you get rewarded in either bits or subs to the creator by watching for longer periods of time. Please Add more separation to reruns and actual live channels Reruns have been killing the asmr section to the point where everything is now reruns. There are a plethora of issues with this one problem, still there are far more than what meets the eye.
The ASMR section was once filled with new live channels (when I started viewing this content was 2 years ago and now it has gone from pretty much all live to less than around 10% live)

Blacklisting streams, games, tags, category Yes, I am aware there is UnwantedTwitch extension for Chrome and Firefox.
No, we should not have to rely on a third party extension to have this feature to allow hiding a streamer/game/tag/category whom someone is not interested on.
Allow viewers more control on what gets displayed at any given time to them anywhere in the site. Can even put the data this would provide to some good use internally.

18+ clarifications It would be helpful if there was a place to see if a streamer was labeled as 18+.
as it is right now, if I acknowledge that I'm entering 1 18+ stream, I never have to acknowledge it again with out the tag.
It would just be helpful to know what kind of community I'm joining or watching. and it would help creators moderate their streams as well.or maybe, the 18+ tag can automatically populate for every one that has their streams marked as 18 up?

To add "Partnered" and "Non-Partnered" I think that adding a "Non-partnered" and "Partnered" section to twitch would be a great way of promoting smaller streamers who are trying to find their audience, as well as making it as easy as possible for people to find their favorite partnered streamer in the partnered section.
This would be a very simple idea to implement and wouldn't have an effect on the way people stream. It would make it far easier for those streamers who are trying to find and audience find and audience and once thats been done, the partnered section is for them.

We need a better way to keep track of topics we have posted here on uservoice. If we post an idea/request there is currently no way to come back and see if anyone has commented on it. Currently we must slog through a confusing interface of trying to find it again in order to simply land here. Then I can find no way to view my previous ideas....probably including this one. How is this not tied to our accounts? Please give us an updated dashboard that includes topics we've created.
