What Twitch needs: random streamers get to the frontpage, 1 per day. So Twitch is getting the whole 'hype train' nonsense thing to get peop What Twitch needs: random streamers get to the frontpage, 1 per day.
So Twitch is getting the whole 'hype train' nonsense thing to get people on the frontpage, even though most of these are the... ahem... 'female streamers in skimpy clothes in sexually suggestive positions/nude' or already popular streamers, driving a massive wedge for discoverability for smaller yet entertaining streamers.
It wouldnt be crazy for Twitch to simply take one random streamer from the bottom drawers (with some kind of filter to prevent the typical moronic '18+SUPER STREAM !SUPPORT !PATREON !TIPS HYPE FOR FORTNITE!' **** from people with zero viewers…

More visibility as a black or bipoc or other marginalized creators & how do those who are partnered get more frequent front page opps Twitch is always asking what they can do better to help elevate and support their bipoc/marginalized creators, but also if they do a good job growing them. My answer to that question has always been a strong no. It feels like there are no means for bipoc/marginalized creators who are not white or white passing to get opportunities such as often being on front page or even marketing unless you know someone who knows someone, or in general are favored by someone within the company. When I contact support as a partner how to be on front page more frequently…

Veterans Day / Month Front Page November is National Veterans and Military Families Month.
There is currently no featured front page activation for Veterans. Veteran's day is November 11th and there are amazing vets that are creating amazing content all year long.Would love to see a feature for Veterans either on Veteran's day, or preferably for the entire month of November. Veteran's are less than 1% of the population and would be an amazing opportunity to highlight creators who fall in this category

Create a Nonbinary/GenderNonConforming Front Page Feature Twitch has done many front page features to celebrate its marginalized creators such as Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, and AAPI Heritage Month. I am proposing the addition of a front page feature to celebrate Nonbinary and Gender-Nonconforming people.
In what was most likely an attempt to be inclusive, Twitch's decision to lump "nonbinary and marginalized genders" into the Women's History Month front page feature in March 2022 was actually a huge misstep. While some nonbinary people may identify as "women-aligned" and be okay with inclusion in women's events, it is dismissive, frustrating, and disappointing to assume all nonbinary…

Move Carousel for Promoted Streamers during BHM/WHM and more Higher Please move the Carousel higher for promoted streamers during Black History Month, Women's History Month, and more.
The point of this is to get more eyes on lesser represented streamers and having to scroll down the page defeats this purpose. Above even "Live channels we think you'll like" would be amazing.

The same streamers on the front page every day I've been a Twitch viewer for years and a content creator for a little over a year now. I dont watch regular TV (for lack of a better term), just Twitch. Theres tons of great content creators out there unfortunately every time I visit the front page, its the same 5-10 streamers EVERY DAY getting all the publicity. Not only is it always the same streamers but its virtually all from the 'music' category which isn't a category I'm interested in. So not only is Twitch cherry-picking the talents they want to see succeed, they're not delivering me content that…

Add Disability Month Front Page Features Twitch does an excellent job curating teams and featuring marginalized creators on the front page during identity based pride months. However, I've never seen one of these happen for disabled creators which I believe is a big missed opportunity.
Being a content creator as a disabled person adds a whole host of additional challenges, such as navigating algorithms that favor consistency with inconsistent bodies. Finding games and programs that are accessible for us for streaming, etc.
I would love to see Twitch uplift the hardworking disabled creators by also hosting a Disability Pride Month and highlighting disabled creators the way…

You need to replicate what ward.tv was for league of legends live stream filtering I like league of legends but didnt use twitch ever because I like watching certain champions in certain lanes. So twitch is unuseable for 'discovery' for league of legends streams because u just have to go in one at a time wait for ads then see what champion, then back out and repeat until you decide why am I here again and why did I think anything would have changed. I noticed ward.tv long time later by coincidence someone posted it as a link somewhere. Anyway u could search on multiple champions rank region and specify which sides for which…

Get found on Twitch search for record breaking and more. I am currently the record holder of most live streams in a row/ daily. The old record was 2000 in a row and as of tonight Nov 6 2021 I am at 2358 days.
I don't know of any programs or hey check this channel out for this record he set or any way to get noticed for doing incredible things. There hopefully will be a way for those channels that work incredibly hard to get noticed or put somewhere where people can find them.
Just an idea or something to help small channels out that deserve views and growth…

Mute sound / video of recommended streams on the main page, before entering the site, in the settings I went to the main page of Twitch and automatically, on the main screen, they began to show me a stream of a certain "buster" who was shouting deafeningly. How can you turn off autoplay of such junk content?

Front page for a week I saw a small new streamer who only has been streaming for few months get the front page first time, for A WEEK and went from 1k to 8k followers and I can confirm who. I think it is unfair for one new streamer to get one week and others only get the spotlight for 2 hours for 1 day.

Don't Advertise Horror Games on the Front Page I suggest this idea because i'm autistic and those kind of games scare me. I really do not like having to see games like Dead by Daylight on the front page. I need to avoid horror themes in my day to day life. Maybe we can opt out of a horror genre all together on the front page. Not to mention a lot of younger members of the twitch community may not like to see horror on the front page. Thank you for reading my suggestion.

Front Page I've been using the platform for more than 3 years now, and every time I go to twitch, I keep getting the same thing on the main page. Most of it is from the "Music" category, and I don't see that. I understand that you can put a main event on this page, but why can't you put something that will really matter to me instead of giving free views from people who are not really interested in that category? They could put something on the main page that matches what the user sees, and not the same as always.…

Offensive language from "featured" streamers. I opened up the site today and the very first thing I heard was "f this, f that," something of which I do not want my child to hear. Since I don't get the "mature audience" acceptance on these featured streamers, I don't have a way to not have that broadcast until I rotate the carousel or click on a subscribed channel.
Please be more selective in who you are featuring.

stop pushing sports on your main page i have no interest in watching sports I'm not a sports nerd and seeing sports in the main feed immediately turns me of the webpage, I have blocked these channels in the past but that doesn't even seem to work anymore make it so we can directly block channels if your going to keep pushing sports which i have zero interest in watching or memorizing stats or watching someone on their couch talk about sports

Suggestion on home page. I really don't like some streamers. Therefore, I have them in my ignore list. But even tho I have them ignored, it's still suggested to me on the home page. Please remove them from the home page or give me the ability to not have suggested streamers on the home page. Thank you.

Dedicated (larger) section for "Clips we think you’ll like" On the front page there is currently a "Clips we think you’ll like" section which shows a very few clips from streamers you follow.
This section is great however it currently only shows a very few clips and you have to refresh the page to get a new list of recommened clips.
This section should be enhanced to a dedicated section for popular clips from streamers you follow.
This section can also add a comment section to clips too.1 vote -

Show reels of highlight clips off of small streamers on mainpage Instead of only Showing streams of made people on the start page, you could add a feature to show short clips of small streamers to give them a platform to be discovered, one small clip at a time

Please add the "not interested" feature to the front page "merry-go-round"/highlight reel. Don't want to see certain channels or people popping up on my front page and would like to have the ability to remove/hide them.
