Exclusion list of tags when browsing
I love being able to browse when I'm bored, but I would love to see an option to exclude (and save) certain tags.
For example: "Sports game"
I know that I will never be interested in Sports games, so having the option to exclude those would be so much easier than clicking each and every sports game to go "Not interested".
Of course there would need to be an option to see and edit such a saved list, so people could remove tags from their exclusion list if they change their minds.

I like to lurk in chats and have my account be bounced around just to support other streamers. This messed up my algorithm to where I'm getting spammed with content I'm not interested in. Hitting Not Interested essentially does nothing. This would be an easy way to filter out content I don't want to see and could help promote pages I want to see on my homepage.
Not sure why Not Interested works for games but not anywhere else.

Its an absolute must have in the profile options i'd say. Even "adult video" sites ask you what kind of tag you want to see.

Please add possibility to exclude tags or langugage. I would really like to remove everything russian from Twitch, at least for myself. Thanks in advance.

Here I am, just another person in among millions who realized this is the most needed feature.
Please please please, this is really the easy feature. We all have preferences and likes. We should have it easier to finding the right streams while avoiding other. -

As sort-of an add-on to this, I don't understand why we don't have the basic "And", "Or", and "Not" filtering options when it comes to tags (this post focusing on the "not" type of gate). Being able to search by one tag at a time is incredibly limiting.

You should be able to block tags, just like you can block channels and categories!

I'll never get tired of clicking "Not interested" every time i see a "russian" or "русский" tags, but a feature to hide them once and for all would be great.

Absolutely would love to be able to block VTuber and Followers Only Chat tags, I don't stick around for either unless I directly went to a channel linked from off the site.

A much needed feature. I need a keyword blacklist. At the very least, I don't want to see the "russian" tag that attacked my country.

Not just tags but game categories too.
If I look for new streamers I want it to filter out all streamers playing Fortnite or Path of Exile for example.

would be great if i could also filter out "follower-only chat" as well not even worth the click. great for them to have it but i'm not ever going to follow to chat.

Not interested in - TAG
We are able to say that we are not interested in a certain game showing up in our recommendations. Why not tags?
I would like to be able to stop languages that I don’t speak, etc, from being recommended. Stops me from having to say that I am NOT INTERESTED one at a time.

I still can't filter out tags i not want recommended or autoplaying when i come visit the page. The only option i see is to do it seperate for each channel and then it still does not work for autoplaying in the top.
Right now i often get bombarded by lewd and political content, i come here to enjoy gaming streams and not want to have some moaning furry autoplaying as soon i get on the website. -

Discoverability is already a huge problem on Twitch. Limiting searches to one tag makes it nearly impossible to find new channels that actually match what I'm looking for, and I've seen multiple streamers post that their viewer count tanked with this change.

We use to be able to search with multiple tags and I'd really like to here why Twitch got rid of this feature last March. I don't understand why this was changed to limit us to only 1 tag filtering.
I too am very specific to which streams I like to watch. I tend to use the LGBTQIA+ filter along with the genre of games I want to watch.. Example "LGBTQIA, Horror, Vtuber" would be the tags I'd like to use in this situation.
Being unable to use multiple tags only hurts streamers and viewers, not helping them.

100% this, how on earth is there no "camera on" tag or something like that?

Increase amount of filtering tags that can be added in for those who want to search for precises cayegories of games or channels.

1. add a filter to the followed section so i dont have to scroll down over and over
2. remember my filters so i dont have to set them over and over
3. remove followed from browse OR add an indication as to wether they are followedplease and thank you

Yeah I am a very specific twitch streamer that plays minecraft with viewers in a survival world on bedrock edition. So I used to filter by playing with viewers, survival mode, pvp and stuff like that. I was nowhere the top of any of those categories individually but if you ever paired any 2 of those together I was almost always in the top 10-20 streamers. So this change has literally tanked my viewership and followers per stream and pretty much killed my stream. So I really hope they change it back or my streaming career has probably been cut a lot shorter than I would have hoped. :-(

We should be able to filter by multiple tags in the Browse section so we can find specific communities instead of having to dive through these massive lists.
It would narrow things down so much.
