Disabled tag request
Disabled gamers often face more or different hardships than abled streamers do. There are so many amazing users on Twitch who are disabled, and they deserve a "disabled" tag. Disabled streamers need a way to find each other and weave our communities together, and disabled viewers need a way to find streamers they want to watch and connect with.
Hey All!
We’re really excited to share that not only have we added a “Disabled” tag, but we have also added more than 350 other tags to Twitch. If you feel we missed anything pertinent, please let us know.
For more information, you can take a look at our blog post at https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2021/05/26/celebrate-yourself-and-your-community-with-350-new-tags/. Please continue to share ideas and feedback you have to UserVoice!

Disabled people need representation as much as LGBTQIA+ individuals.
It doesn't specifically need to be "disabled", it could be "disability" or something similar. There is a mental health tag for use when people want to talk about mental health issues, many of whom have them. It just makes sense for inclusion.

I have shared this on Twitter to get more votes. Worth doing the same as there was a petition with over 1500 votes to get this tag so would be good if those people had voted here as Twitch take more notice of this

2nd the description.
In the past, disabled streamers have been told by Twitch, that a disabled tag doesn’t exist, because it would lead to targeted harassment. As if the LGBTQIA+ hasn’t lead to targeted harassment for years.
Denying disabled creators the ability to identify and tag their content as such is not just paternalism, it’s ableist.
Disabled creators as capable of making their own decisions, and doesn’t need Twitch to parent them.
There is a disabled community on Twitch. There are disabled viewers on Twitch. And it’s not small either. It’s estimated that 20% of the population is disabled. And they deserve the ability to find this community on Twitch.
Streamers, more than ever, are adding captions which benefit d/Deaf viewers, HoH viewers, and those with auditory processing challenges. The Twitch community is already acknowledging and accommodating disabled folks. Why hasn’t Twitch followed the community’s lead?

It's so rubbish this hasn't been thought of. I was shocked when I tried to find other disabled streamer and found no way to connect.

The Disabled Tag would allow Twitch Users to discover other Streamers or Users who have the “Disabled” tag listed on their Twitch Channel. This would help the Streamers and Users who are medically disabled have the ability to find others without searching through hundreds to thousands of users. We know that can be annoying, so with the help of the Twitch Community, we can make this happen.

A disabled tag would be great and it would be a way to find gamers that don't play games "traditionally"
