I used to give out a lot of gift subs etc but I honestly can no longer support a company that cares about me and my siblings so little they don't even give us the courtesy of a status update.

Twitch has clearly solidified that they don't care about the Transgender community. As a trans woman I am hurt by the actions of Twitch. They have ignored us for 2 year. 2 Y E A R S. This is the top thing on this forum and has been for a very long time. Twitch you need to do this right. Roll it out during pride month.

You're going to use this as a PR stunt aren't you Twitch? Just roll this out during pride month after ignoring your trans community for over 2 years and almost 12k votes. It's disgusting that you haven't even provided updates since October. #TRANSTAGNOW

Look… whatever discussions and team meetings you’re having about adding a trans tag (and I sincerely hope that’s what’s going on and not, in fact, that this topic has been forgotten or is considered unimportant), I urge you to be transparent and include us in the conversation, not only to 1) make sure you get it right by having guidance and feedback from actual trans people, but 2) because it’s the right thing to do and might actually help Twitch not look like a horribly transphobic company.

We need a trans tag. Even under the lgbtqia+ tag we still face issues with transphobia. We need to be able to find trans specific spaces for us where we can feel like we are amongst people who get us because most of the world doesn’t. I don’t buy the whole “it will cause harassment “ you honestly think we aren’t ALREADY harassed? What it will do is give us support.

This is ridiculous. So many of my friends stream on Twitch. *I* stream on twitch sometimes. This tag needs to exist. I cannot believe they care more about HOT TUBS than ACTUAL HUMAN LIVES THAT NEED OUTREACH AND SUPPORT. We already have to struggle to find our own communities. #TransTagNow

I love streaming on Twitch as a Partner, my personal experience & time went into making sure my community is a safe space for other people who are Queer; but the Hot Tub, Pool & Beaches category is a laugh in the face. I signed this request quite a while ago, but it's obvious we need to be louder to be heard. This Pride has a LOT of make up to do. #TransTagNow
