Categories are constantly becoming flooded and making it harder for new streamers to be found, creating new categories will increase the odds of people being found as well as categories that specify specific professions, not just General Software/game development.

So Twitch is getting the whole 'hype train' nonsense thing to get people on the frontpage, even though most of these are the... ahem... 'female streamers in skimpy clothes in sexually suggestive positions/nude' or already popular streamers, driving a massive wedge for discoverability for smaller yet entertaining streamers.
It wouldnt be crazy for Twitch to simply take one random streamer from the bottom drawers (with some kind of filter to prevent the typical moronic '18+SUPER STREAM !SUPPORT !PATREON !TIPS HYPE FOR FORTNITE!' **** from people with zero viewers…

New category: Pomodoro I study a lot with streamers using the Pomodoro method (25min study - 5min break or 50min study - 10min break) and I would love for streamers who use this specific method to be able to specify it, as not every study/co-working stream uses it. I think both streamers and audiences can benefit from this! :)

Twitch should make a Channel called Actors. Twitch should make a channel called Actors. The streamers can act out scenes. Eventually Twitch will have their own Netflix, creating shows or movies etc.

Crypto Gaming I would recommend creating a new category inherent in the crypto gaming world. There are a lot of people streaming on the wrong category. If it were created it could be called 'Crypto Gaming' where people could stream gameplay and chat about this new game-based trend.

Re-add the J-Stars Victory VS+ Category The original Japanese release for the PS3 version is still there but it's a vastly different game from J-Stars Victory VS+. The original jp release isn't even played. Please restore the J-Stars Victory VS+ category, so many streams are lost and are unable to be found because streaming directly from the Playstation will go to a category that doesn't exist.

Don't include "suggested" channels more than once on the front page A channel that is recommended under "live channels we think you'll like" should not be listed a second time on the same page (ie, under "what's hot" or game related categories).
Channels we already follow shouldn't appear in our recommendations at all. Why should they be there? We already follow them.
These redundancies take up valuable space on the Front Page; they are also a detriment to discoverability.

Senior Citizen Streamers I would like to see some type recognition and feature/category/recommendation to watch some of the older and senior age streamers. I realize it is a rather niche group. But I feel that the people in my age group of 55+ see very little promotion.
I myself and 60+ and still enjoy gaming, and sharing my game play, no I'm not Rock Star or have Pro skills, but I still very much enjoy the entertainment value, and sitting down and going a few rounds. I also enjoy watching some of the older gamers play but they are hard to find in…

Add CryptoGodz as a game-channel category Hello,
I'm using this platform to kindly ask CryptoGodz to be added as a category under the game category channels( i.e https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/cryptogodz) , just like any other games arounds.
CryptoGodz is a new NFT P2E Game, website is cryptogodz.io, already have more than 10k members on their social media and very active community. There are many streamers that are using a different category to talk about this game but they(myself included) would like to use the proper category.

Create Categories for Different Art Programs It's not fair that streamers in the art streamers don't have the option to stream under "ZBrush" or "Photoshop" as a category when there are categories for every video game. Please consider this as an opportunity to grow interest in the platform by supporting these niche communities of artists using different mediums.

Make it so you can filter by low to high Video Games (not channels) just like you can filter high to low To get to the low video games you have to browse downward for twenty minutes to half an hour and then by the time you click on a game with just one stream and finish with that one stream to find another one the streamers have often already logged off forcing you to waste another 20 minutes scrolling down to the bottom while it all loads. I just want a way to filter to the lowest viewed video games so I can discover new games and the streamers that love a game.
