Twitch Middle East (Bahrain) Servers Required Dear Sirs,
I am from Karachi, Pakistan and after the release of Bahrain Servers on AWS. It is requested to the Twitch team to release Bahrain CDNs for Twitch too so that the Middle Eastern countries can stream on low latency with better performance as the nearest servers for Middle eastern countries are Europe: UK, London and Asia: Singapore for Content Delivery.
There arent any servers in between, but as AWS has already established Bahrain servers 2 years ago, it is requested to you all to do the same so that new content creators from this region can rise up…

Buffering issues on streams with less than 100 viewers This issue has been going on for months now.
Certain streams have been buffering until they are 8 - 10 seconds behind.
It usually buffers 2 - 3 times, until the stream is 8 seconds behind, and then it runs with no more buffering.
At first I thought it was just random streams, but after I posted about the issue on Reddit, someone pointed out that it's only happening on stream with less than ~100 viewers. Once a stream gets over 100 - 150 viewers, there's no more buffering.
I usually watch stream with lower viewercounts, and interacting with the…14 votes -

Add more Ingest Servers in South America Hello. We used to have many different servers in the region that for some reason got deprecated one day with no announcement or reason as to why it happened. And now we only got servers available in Brasil and many of us can't stream to them because of bad routing (Chile or Peru work a lot better, for example) so if at least a new server could be added for Chile in the region it would allow many of us to have a stable connection and finally stream normally as we should be able to. Please, we really need some…

Implement AV1 video codec and Opus audio codec We all know that AVC has issues with efficiency an HEVC is basically dead.
A more modern codec would not only be great for streamers and high definition content, it would also potentially reduce the load on the servers.Benefits with AV1:
- It's open source so no license costs like HEVC
- It's much more efficient than AVC and even HEVCBenefits of Opus:
- Basically the same as AV113 votes -

A player size that matches the stream resolution exactly. Prevents unnecessary blur from the filtering applied when resizing the video. Great for retro game streamers using integer scaling.

PLEASE help streamers with the infamous "(Error #2000)" problem? This error is HUGE all over the internet for Twitch streamers! We need serious attention done to this error which is causing problems for so many small-time streamers who do not have the resources or knowledge to find out why this error appears. This is one of the most persistent and problematic errors that MUST be addressed by Twitch in a real SERIOUS way!

Audio Only or Under 1080p Either let us listen to Twitch with no video or stop forcing me to watch in 1080p. One streamer I follow's streams are forced into 1080p half the time, but not all the time. He says there's nothing he can do about it, so could you just fix it Twitch? My internet can't handle it most of the time.

bitrate limit Mixer has a current bitrate limit of more than 10,000 and YouTube has no bitrate limit. When will the bitrate limit be increased from the current 6000 to at least 10000? How does Twitch want to remain qualitatively competitive in the future?

Hi Twitch I want to demand the presence of Twitch servers in the Middle East in order to improve the quality of broadcasting in the Middle E Hi Twitch
I want to demand the presence of Twitch servers in the Middle East in order to improve the quality of broadcasting in the Middle East because of the closest servers to us in France and Germany. We thank your efforts to develop the Twitch community.9 votes -
Ability to "pin" video stats, esp. Latency to Broadcaster During a live stream, could a viewer please choose any of the video statistics under Settings > Advanced > Video Stats, and have only that statistic pinned somewhere on the screen? In my mind it would show up like a running FPS counter in a video game, without having to keep the entire blocky chunk of Video Stats cutting off a huge section of the stream's video (and sometimes the streamer's webcam). For example I find myself constantly checking the "Latency to broadcaster" statistic whenever I watch any stream. I always want to know the delay between what I see…

give us more options to change the video quality. For example I want source quality graphics but limit my framerate to 30 fps. It will make the video run smoother but not have to look at grainy graphics

More INGEST SERVERS for Brazil (decentralizing from SAO and RIO) Hi! We are in desperate need of more Ingest Servers in Brazil (and maybe South America). Specially decentralizing it from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro since there are alot of people that are getting dropped frames from other states. We have a large community of both streamers and viewers and need those options, specially the partners that are having trouble streaming lately!
Thank you!

Up the bitrates across the board Up the bitrate Twitch. We have 4k60 consoles and PCs that can run 4k120, theres zero reason why bandwidth should be limited by anything other than the streamer's ISP. If I have 1GBPS, I should be able to stream a 65000KBPS stream in 4k, practically eliminating artifacts. In addition, transcoding should be a ubiquitous feature. This would only serve to bring actual high quality content to anyone who has the desire to consume it. These artificial limitations are absurd, especially since YouTube has made massive endroads here.

Implement a Live Button Like Youtube The video player will buffer causing a long "Latency To Broadcaster" when the streamer has intermittent connectivity issues. For desktop streamers this is usually not a problem. This is a nuisance for viewers watching IRL streamers who are streaming on less reliable mobile connections. Who wants to watch a stream where the "Latency To Broadcaster" is over 30s? or even 10s?
I have to open the "Video Stats" menu with every stream I watch to keep an eye on the "Latency To Broadcaster" to make sure I'm not too far behind the live stream. Nothing wrong with my internet connection.…

Provide transcodes readily for ALL streams There's frankly no excuse for Twitch to not provide transcodes readily for all streams in the Year of Our Lord 2022. This is arguably the world's biggest streaming site; they obviously have the resources, yet they refuse to use them. It doesn't help that buffering issues on the site have been record-breakingly bad over the past two weeks or so. Transcodes would at the very least alleviate them in that watching a stream at a lower quality (such as 360p) has a chance to make the watching experience much less of a bufferfest.
