Transcoding for all streamers in India India is probably one of the biggest markets for anything related to digital content consumption and VOD industry. Twitch has no market share here because of the simple reason new streamers doesn't get any transcoding. Twitch can be huge and beat fellow platforms if they start with some specific policies for the Indian Subcontinents including payments in local currency. However that all should start with transcoding hours and local data centers so that the viewers are able to watch the content with limited data.

Allow higher than 6000Kbps bitrates for Twitch Turbo subscribers. We understand that broadcasting at higher bit rates costs Twitch more money, so why not enable it as a paid feature, such as for Twitch turbo subscribers?

Twitch répare ses abus Il faut se manifester sur User voice les gens pour que Twitch sache ses disfonctionnement ... Pendant que d'autre font plus de 40h de live sans déconnexion ...lol... Set video quality per stream, not globally Please allow the viewers to set the video quality of each stream separately, instead of globally. This will allow the viewers to override streams that use unusually (and unwanted) high video quality while also maintaining a valid quality on other streams.

Enable MPTCP on ingress Enable Multipath TCP (MPTCP) on ingress servers. With MPTCP you can increase the stream reliability and performance by using multiple physical paths from streaming computer.

Passed stream stopped playing at the red zone I was watching a passed stream and as soon as it got to the red zone, it paused the stream. I presume it’s for copyright reasons which is make sense but the fact that it’s bothering me now.

Make VODs default to Source quality when navigated to from Clips VODs currently default to 160p if navigated to from a Clip.
This only pertains to the "twitch.tv/channelname/clip/uniqueslug" pages, not the older "clips.twitch.tv/uniqueslug" pages.
This also doesn't happen if you click "Watch Full Video" after creating a clip, as you're on a "clips.twitch.tv/uniqueslug" page at that point.Specific reproduction steps - follow them closely:
1. Go to any Twitch channel page
2. Click the channels avatar to expand the featured/videos section.
3. Click Videos -> Find a clip and click the clip

Watch Streamers in mini pop-out video player box mode as the defualt video player in their main stream (on their channel page) Have an option to watch any stream in the mini pop-out player, as the default player to watch.
It helps when you have slow or disconnecting internet speeds, or the streamer only has a large resolution display option for their stream at or over 720 p, etc., to watch their stream in the mini pop-out box/it's more stable and faster loading for slower internet users.

Optimize Twitch Honestly, I don’t know what exactly needs to be done, but twitch, unlike the same YouTube, always lacks Internet speed. I watch streams via wifi. Through the Windows task manager, I often see that twitch consumes over 20 Mbps and uses 70% of my processor. At peak moments of using the Internet, streams and recordings of streams do not freeze, but the speed constantly increases from 0 to 20 Mbps and falls back, at times when it is below 10 Mbps or I open even the usual "new tab" in Google stream or its RECORDING (it's like a regular YouTube…

An errorless twitch using private relay on safari Twitch is not optimised for macOS safari. Errors include #2000, #3000, and rarely #4000. Audio levels snaps to 10% when going low Please fix the bug (or feature added recently?) where your sound level snaps to 10%. I usally have 3 or 4% when watching streams, but latley it snaps to 10% or Off.
Its very frustrating and sounds are really loud at 10%.thank you

Audio I feel like there is alot of room to improve in the Audio Quality Area. Twitch should have a Dolby Atmos or DTS or 360 degree audio decoder and encoder for the Music Streams. Especially the Dj Streams. That is the upcoming new audio technology and with Nividia Broadcast and their drivers it will be a perfect fit.

video playback cancelled error messages I am re-re-reposting this as you closed the ticket without addressing the issues I raised!
1) Getting an increasing number of video playback cancelled error messages while watching twitch. - I have use the cog to report more times than I can count but the issue is not getting resolved!
2) I would use the contact support feature but your bot is too stupid to understand me and sends me unrelated replies. - Not addressed!
3) don't close open tickets until you have solved and address the issues, its plan rude and stops people up voting if they are having…

Playing Streams from the start recently needs Pause/Play to reduce latency in the past, streams runs perfectly on desktop with no latency. now streams starts with latency and needs to pause / play to synchronize

Expired Security Certificate embedded in streams Viewing live streams prompts an AntiVirus Warning that an embedded Security Certificate is currently expired. Warning reads: "attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to global.poe.live-video.net. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a risk."

Change content provider for Hungary As I got informed by my ISP you changed provider locally for content distribution some weeks ago. Since that all the streams are laggy, buffering, stopping etc.. Using VPN would solve the issue but that shouldn't be a must have to watch streams.
