1. To See if The Person has Read The Whisper or Not

   Well I feel like a thing should be implemented in whispers that if someone sees said message, the person who sent the whisper can see if the other person has read it or not. For example, it would have said "seen" or "has been read" if the person has read it. (I had to repost this because I typoed haha)

2. Add scroll back length adjustable in settings.

   Being able to increase the max scroll back value beyond the 150 limit would help a lot with chat moderating, and help with chat interaction from the broadcaster. This feature would disabled by default in settings but once enabled the user will be able to set the value to his/her liking. Having a maximum limit to start with ex. 10K would be a great start, with the set maximum value becoming bigger over time.

3. Streamers can promote followers to be able to join sub only chat.

   Hello everyone SlaveZero here,

   Chat is mostly non subs and most streamers go to sub only chat, and I think that all streamers have loyal followers that were with them for years and are not subs. It would be nice if there was an option where streamer could promote their loyal followers to be able to participate in sub only chat.

   I have a running gag on my channel, and would love to be able to make a filter that automatically replaces one word with another to go along with the gag. Could also be used to fight spam and hate comdically.

5. Ability For Streamers To Limit Moderator Powers In Streamer's Chat

   Allow streamer to control what powers moderators have over their stream/chat/bans/unban requests/stream settings etc. After the recent change where banned users are forced to unfollow the channel, moderators have too much power over channels and hold enough power to destroy a channel. I do not feel comfortable modding users after this change, but my chat lacks enough moderation due to this issue.

   Hacked mod accounts or vengeful mods have the power to ban all users in a streamer's follower list, thus forcing these followers to unfollow the streamer. Banned users also mean an unfollow. This gives mods extreme power that is not warranted by the streamer. This could ruin streamers with large followings by simply banning the user, the user is forced to unfollow. once a ban/unfollow happens, theres no way for the streamer to fix the issue, mistake or otherwise.

   I'm suggesting streamers have the ability to cap the number of bans per day for each moderator. Prevent mods from banning users when stream is not active. Prevent mods from taking specific actions when the stream is not active. Streamers should be able to pick and choose which mods have control over which specific actions.

   Moderators have the ability to handle unban requests. As a streamer, I would prefer to handle this myself, preferably with the option to make unban request comments and my decision or comments to the user private to my mods. Often times mods unfairly handle the unban requests of users they banned before I can even acknowledge the unban request existed.

   Streamers should have the ability to prevent mods or selectively choose which mods can do certain actions.

   Examples include adding words to their ban/permitted words lists, decide which mods have powers to pin messages. The ability to approve a mod's pinned message to chat before it is pinned, giving only certain mods the ability to ban, only allowing mods to do select actions while the stream is live, pin, add/delete, do shoutouts, etc.

   Not all mods are created equal!

7. Watch Streak Leaderboard on Twitch Chat

   Aside from Leaderboard for Top Gifters and Leaderboard for Top Cheerers, I recommend adding Watch Streak Leaderboard. This is also to recognize consistent viewers of the channel aside from additional bonus channel points when they get 3-watch streak. Thanks in advance if this gets considered!

8. Better control over hyperlinks

   currently we only have 2 settings for hyperlinks in the chat:
   1. everyone can post links
   2. restricted to Streamer/Mods/Admins/VIPs

   as hyperlink detection is already present for option 2, it would be a nice thing to have a 3rd option:
   Pull messages that contain hyperlinks into the AutoMod for approval

   This gives the streamers and their mods the opportunity to review the message and link. They can then deny or approve of the message on a case by case basis.

12. Ping all for mods

    I regularly notice that some people miss important moments of the stream and then ask what happened or make clips to watch the replay. Usually these people are sitting in a neighboring window or tab, or busy doing something else but interested in the stream.

    It would be great to be able to call everyone to the screen at important moments of the stream that you want to see live.

    To do this, I suggest giving moderators the ability to ping everyone in the chat with @all or the /heyall command, which would be the equivalent of you writing the nicknames of the entire chat except the streamer: @username1, @username2, @username3, and so on.

14. Detailed Gift Sub Error when recipient is already subbed

    When a user tries to give a gift sub to a community member, and they get an error, it very vague. Especially in the case where the recipient is already subbed.

    Please update the returned error text to be more clear.

    "PotatoLover99 is already a sub to FancyStreamer22 - very nice thought though!"

    Why? When gifting in chat, its obvious when someone is already subbed. But if you are trying to gift someone who perhaps made a great clip, or had requested a sub on a different platform (eg. Discord) - a vague error results in wasted time (eg trying a different payment method).

15. Fit screen video and column chat in landscape mode

    On mobile, revert back to video adjusting size to fit column chat when viewing in landscape. Currently, when column chat mode is enabled, it covers part of the stream on the right versus before both stream and chat fit the screen. Since there is a chat overlay mode now, change to the old way column chat was.

16. Two step verification

    There is countries with digital id card, those can be used instead of phones, to administer the chatting two step verification and also maybe age monitoring for the viewing of each user. It is for the safety of youngsters that a Government talk needs to happen. I know in spain there is a chip in the id card and switzerland there is a seperate card for digital identification, so its not too far ahead. It can be brought to the attention of policy makers around the place that it is of high importance to bring certain atmosphere of wellbeing to this era, and in turn a whole new category of loyal global teaching and academia might be sprout in the website. Think bout it. The main big thing of this is governments would need to provide each citizen with an email. Because thats how the web works. Of course one would be able to choose not to abide by the rule, and create another email, but rules apply, as certain chattboxes will be forbidden for them in this manner. With it it may come the question of real names on twitch. And, how about the ability for having a real name username, and a changeable username? That might spark confusion but some privacy might be required when joining a certain streaming.

17. Open/Close Chat window via keyboard

    Often while enjoying Twitch streams, I find myself wanting to easily open and close the chat to stay updated with the ongoing discussions. Since I predominantly use the keyboard over the mouse, it can be a bit inconvenient to switch to the mouse solely to manage the chat. I was wondering if it would be possible to incorporate a hotkey function that allows users to toggle the chat window. This would greatly enhance the viewing experience, providing a smoother way to engage with the chat without interrupting the stream. Perhaps something akin to the 'F' key for fullscreen mode could be implemented. Your consideration of this feature addition would be highly appreciated
