Implement a thing from social networks that says "256 symbols remaining" So that I could tell how many more symbols I can add to my chat message before the moderating bot would delete that message and time me out for sending it. Accordingly to the streamer's settings of the moderating bot of course.

Replace followers-only mode with established account mode Followers-only mode is discouraging finding new streams. Especially when streams have ONE HOUR followers only mode. The mode is misused to gain followers instead of preventing spam. Why do I have to follow every channel I want to chat in?

make it possible to add, change, or delete tags via commands in chat For anyone who isn't using the twitch website to stream e.g. console users or even allow mods to do it for you. This would be a much appreciated implementation after Communities were taken away.

A shortcut to show chat ON and OFF while on Fullscreen Mode and allow to type without needing to click the mouse This way wouldnt be necessary to use the mouse to interact with twitch channels chat if you are in fullscreen, then I could sit comfortably in my chair with only my keyboard in my lap while watching ;) The shortcut could be Alt+C

Chat division moderator. Here's an idea on how to moderate an overly active chat full of spam, streamer bashing, and overall bullying without having to rely heavily on a streams moderators. Have a series of settings for chat division based on the viewers sub tier or lack there of. allow streamers to set a limit on the number of people that can send messages chat. Since twitch has grown in size, many people have realized that streamers can no longer engage with their community the way they used to. Even with subscriber-only mode turned on, due to the massive increase in twitch prime subs, most long time streamers' chats are still filled with spam. You should give streamers a mode that limits the amount of viewers that can talk in chat, giving priority to those who have been subbed the longest(including or not including prime subs), and then those who has been following the longest. Possible solution for massive streams chat Current system of chats on massive streams is a big problem. Unreadable and full of spam.
I was thinking one of a possible fixes it should be to make sub rooms of chat. For example
Stream General chat can be splitted into:
chat-en-1
chat-en-2
chat-en-3
chat-es-1
chat-es-2
chat-ru-1
chat-ru-2
I dont know what kind of structure are you using about it.

Get a private message when you are mentioned. For example:
You ask a question in a chat of a streamer. You get an answer like "@name answer to question", but you could not read the answer because there are 10.000 people chatting or you went somewhere else. My suggestion is that you get a private message when your name is mentioned so you can read the answer anytime.1 vote -

Disable chat for viewers who made an account before a certain amount of time Recently I had an experience with something that i have seen plenty of people complaining about. Just like the option that disallows chat for those who havent followed for a certain amount of time, there should be an option that disallows people who have made their account for a certain amount of time. Highlight Certain Words I love using the /me command to highlight the whole phrase in the color of your your username, but there are times where I only want to highlight one or two words or highlight half a phrase. I would also like it if you made a bold, italics, strike through, etc. commands (For example Bold Italic Bold and Italic ~~Strike through~~ etc.) available for use inside of stream chats.

Would allow the option for larger streams to increase the duration of slow chat based on a threshold of viewers. The more people that join the longer the slow chat duration. interaction between broadcaster and viewer develop a feature that allows broadcaster select specific person from the viewer list and do a video call with the person. it will be useful for the broadcaster to do direct interaction if anything happen such as a huge amount of donation, giveaway or anything else.

Kappa Mode This idea has been in my head ever since the release of the Golden Kappa.
Much like how we currently has sub-only mode and emote-only mode, we should have a Kappa-only mode, where any variations of the kappa emotes can be posted!
Whether it's a sub emote, bttv emote, or a global emote, it can only allow emotes to be passed that have the kappa in it, and includes variation such as KaRappa or Keepo!

Support Markdown for source code snippets in chat It would be nice to be able to type snippets of programming source code into chat.
For example, `
@next += 1` would become<code>@next += 1</code>in the outputted HTML of the chat, which works great at first glance.This would be a great feature for the #programming subchannel on Creative. Many programming sigils and tokens are meaningful in chat, so these would be ignored if inside a code tag.

Add an options for streamers to ASK QUESTIONG. Streamers should be able to ask a questions on which everyone watching them could answer. For example: Should i play Caitlyn or Jhin? Answers: "caitlyn" and "Jhin". And there would be a pop up which would allow streamer to see the score of both votings.
