How can we improve Twitch chat?

Verified status for everyone and /verifiedonly chat mode

I would appreciate a very helpful feature for a lot of streams.

Feature/Requirements:

1) Make verifications and a verified status available for every user
2) Mark verified users with a badge on the profile page
3) Mark verified users with a badge in the chat
4) Implement a /verifiedonly chat mode
5) Link multiple accounts to the same verification

Pros:

With the above mentioned features Twitch would become a safer and nicer place for everyone.
With the option for users to verify their accounts with their ID card, driver's license, or Amazon account and a chat mode for verified users only, a lot of spam, scam, harmful behavior, and ban evasions could be prevented. A chat ban of a verified account results in a ban for all the accounts linked to the same verification. Also a platform ban of a verified account results in a ban for all the accounts linked to the same verification. This procedure would make ban evasion more harder.

Cons:

This would result in a higher administration effort.

    I rarely have the chat visible, and even more rarely write into a chat. But if i have to verificate my acc with anything more than email, Twitch would be dead to me

    you already have the option at every level (not just partner or affiliate) to only allow verified accounts into your chat. vacation dosnt require much. simply your email and a phone number

    That would be a horrible thing because not everyone wants to give their data out into the world. Also this data could be easily stolen. I would consider leaving twitch if they would implement something like this.

    Cons: this would open up huge vectors for data harvesting via hacks, with seriously increased levels of unnecessary personal user data having to be collected, stored, and reviewed by Twitch. Ridiculous.

    this would make twitch chat less fun. you do realize trolls is what makes it entertaining. if i said you suck to a streamer then get all my verications banned from the site would be unjust lmao

    I think back to when I first started using Twitch, and I have to wonder if I would have bothered to continue using it if I had to jump through hoops to get verified. Perhaps if it were linked to my Amazon account it might have been ok. But, I'm almost positive I would never have uploaded any form of ID to get verified. I suppose if Twitch still allowed access that would be ok, and I suppose choice is ok. But, I would be turned off by any streamer who had "verified only" chat mode enabled the same way I won't follow or raid someone with "followers only" chats.

    black list the phrase "/me has donated" for non-mods. Therefore our bots can give alerts and regular users cannot troll the streamer

    I think this idea should be rephrased. I think this is easily confused with the existing "Verified" badge that Twitch Partners have. Unless this is what you mean, in which case I don't think it would ever happen, if every user in chat was suddenly a Verified user.

    Few days ago my chat was blocked on every stream and i can't type anything unless i will provide my phone number. According to twitch support i am "included in the verified accounts only chat experiment" and it cannot be opted out for nor reversed. So my idea is:
    DON'T PUNISH PEOPLE WITH YOUR SICK EXPERIMENTS or give them options to opt out because for me it is nothing more but phishing, and after 7 years i have nothing left to do but to delete my account and make new one.
