Banned/blocked users shouldnt be able to view your stream at all.
Due to an extremely large amount of streamers getting trolled to the point they no longer want to stream, I feel that if someone gets banned/blocked from a streamers chat then they should no longer be able to even view the stream. When the troll types the streamers name into the search bar then that streamers name should not appear, just like how it works on any other site. Allowing the troll to view the stream can still cause stream sniping and other things that gives the troll the incentive to troll and harass even further. Im speaking from experience here. Even though ive had to ban hundreds of accounts I still get the troll making alt accounts and having their username being a family members name or my address. This needs to be sorted asap.
Well you cant since you can watch streams without an account.
That would have to be optional, since the only way it could work would be to make it so that you need to be logged in to watch streams, and that means that many streams would lose a lot of viewers if it was forced.
This idea is unenforceable without a massive overall of how Twitch functions imo. What's preventing them from just viewing and stream sniping by logging out of Twitch? There's no way to prevent someone from stalking someone on Twitch unless they require everyone to have an account and be logged in before viewing streams. Even then, the bar Twitch / Amazon has set for account creation is so ridiculously low that some trolls already have literally hundreds of throwaway accounts; plus VPNs are a thing (which should also be banned).
This should have been a thing since day 1
