1. Remove the feature that unfollows banned users.

   On 03NOV21, it was revealed that banning a user from a chat will now unfollow them from the stream.

   This does NOTHING to manage harassment and gives people one last "AH HA!" when they literally just follow the stream again and either activate the alert or appear in the event list.

   "Oh, nice my mod just banned a user with a username STREAMERISBADWORD123!"

   Now they all instantly follow again, and streamers event list is littered with it or their alerts are activating.

   This is an absurd feature that contributes nothing to chat management and in fact makes it possibly WORSE. This says NOTHING though about joke bans which are very common on the website or accidental bans.

   I can live with losing joke bans, they aren't often employed so losing them is not a chief concern. HOWEVER, accidental bans DO happen and it's ridiculous that anybody would have a long-term negative impact because of that.

   "Just don't accidentally ban people, 4head."

   Yes, while I ban troll123 through troll999 during a live stream and active chat, it seems Twitch thinks it is just so far out of the realm of possibility that somebody might accidentally get mixed up in the crossfire? No, it happens all the time especially in larger channels.

   One way you could introduce it is if it only happens when the streamer is the one to bans them. The streamer could even just hit the ban button again after a mod does it to seal the deal.

   HOWEVER, what if a streamer accidentally clicks and bans a long-time moderator and viewer? They're the only ones who can actually ban mods so now mods are in the crossfire.

   If you claim none of these things happen, you haven't been using Twitch long enough.

   This new feature not only helps nobody, it makes things actively worse.

   Please remove.

   While working to curb followbot abuse, a product feature was inadvertently released early. As a result, accounts that were banned in a channel were automatically removed as a follower. We’ve rolled back this change and bans should now be functioning as expected.

   We’ve heard your feedback about this change and the final product should address many concerns raised. We’re continuing to build, and we’ll let you know what is happening when we’re ready to launch.

2. Revoke mod's restrictions on blocked terms

   Moderators are now affected on using blocked terms. This is a negative update since mods use blocked terms to advice the streamer or the chat.
   It would be very helpful if it goes back to when us moderators could use blocked terms since it's our duty to help both the streamer and the chat.

   Thank you so much for this feedback! Unfortunately this was an unexpected change that happened last week, but I am here to let you all know that it has been reverted and moderators should be back to being able to use blocked terms as they were before!

3. Mods/Broadcaster Mention Everybody

   I would like to see an option for moderators and broadcaster to be able to mention everybody that is in the chat. It would be nice to be able to get the whole chats attention as a moderator, sometimes it seems that moderators messages can get drowned out in a chat.

4. Stop Shadowbanning People On Chat Without Notification.

   Please stop shadowbanning chat users (specifically when they are using VPNs) while letting them think everything is ok, because it's messed up. People are being shadow banned and thinking nobody cares about what they're saying. You are playing games with their heads when you do this. Stop it.

6. Add option to turn off subscription anniversary reminder

   The subscription anniversary appears every time I visit live channels that I subscribed to and it doesn't go away. I find it annoying and would like an option to turn it off.

   This should be live on the site now. The anniversary reminder will have an ‘X’ in the corner that you can click to easily close and not have it pop up. If you are on web you will have more options to choose to choose as well like delay the reminder till your next time visiting the stream or just not reminding you for the rest of the month.

9. Apparently you cannot be contacted to make a complaint or something like that?

   Because apparently you cannot be contacted anywhere, and moderators are way over their heads, removing comments with NOTHING wrong, by the rules and relevant answer to another comment. This is ridiculous, I waited long for the account, long for the permission to say something to chat in a place what I decided to watch and follow. And I answered to normal comment, with normal comment. nothing ******, nothing violent, only normal. like "<the users thing> is a fraud, but this is beautiful> .. hundreds of comment above mentioned beauty, and there was nothing wrong. When I commented about that atrocity, the mooning moderator made some mute for me. for nothing. Kick out those, they are not doing good for the service, they are are harming the business. This is probably pointless to write in here, but "yourpelagea" chat moderator broke the rules, destroyed new users interest if normal talk if forbidden. By the heavens, if someone sees this, and knows who animal was moderating that about 20min ago, fire him and let her live in the streets. This is a travesty. Do something! where should I make a contact to make that "moderator" go jobless? please inform me, totally ruined twitch for me and a day.. I hope he gets covid, but as we know, it is a flu. no harm done. help me to make a complain about her/him. probably her, because of the mooning rage.

10. Abusive mods must be moderated

    Mods are banning users across multiple channels without reason.

    Owners of channels need more transparency when it comes to bans from rogue mods. These mods are blatantly abusing their powers to ban users from channels that they have never even chatted in. These users are bringing this issue up to other mods like myself, and I've experienced it personally from corrupt mods. We need more methods of dealing with rogue mods that are banning users. They need to flag users, and have owners of channels make the final move. This current method is empowering people that have no reason being mod to abuse their positions across multiple channels.

    These innocent users need more serious ways to bring this issue forth to channel owners directly in a huge way as to clear their name.

    I suggest a democratic system when it comes to bans from mods. The owners of channels may still do what they like, however, we should make it so that mods need at least another person or two to check why they decided to ban a User for no reason or for personal reasons that may not align with the channel's owner.

    Mods on mobile should have the same power as those who use our site. You just have to click on the users name and moderation options will be available to you there.

12. Cant Send

    I dont know why, but i cannot send messages since yesterday, i can type them, and i can see them, but no one else see´s it, i tried changing accounts, incognito, and everything, but no one else can see my messages HELP!!!!

15. Chatting lag time on chat to be improved as seems like sometimes messages come up bit after for streamers.

    I would prefer it to be like real time chat, abit less lag for chat, so reply not so much a delay for streamer and others in chat.

    The chat to streamer lag you are describing is latency. Please ensure that when you click on the video settings on the bottom right corner of the player, under Advanced, low latency is toggled on. Sometimes, some streamer prefer to turn off low latency, such as to avoid stream sniping or to make it easier to keep up with chat, for example. 19. Viewers and Chatting

    Hello Twitch, I'm having trouble with my stream. First, my viewer is count is wrong because when I had 7 viewers on stream it said 2. Also when I had 5 viewers while I was streaming it said 1!! Secondly, when I have viewers in my chat they're not chatting!!! Can you FIGURE OUT IF THEY ARE BOTS or just regular people watching my stream. Everytime I stream 1 viewer comes but he doesn't cHAT SOMEONE TELL ME WHY!!!!

    I noticed that regular links don't work but I put in a bit.ly link in the chat and worked, maybe we can make it so bit.ly links don't work.
