Quick access to last message of a given user When you are reading the chat and see a lot of @johndoe "Ah ah ah good one", we are curious about what john doe said and was so funny. To avoid the scroll, it should be possible to have an automatic scroll to the last message of John Doe by clicking on his name and select "see last message". Considering the scenario up here, his nickname will be present a lot (so not only be able to click on his name when he speaks, but also when he is mentioned).

Channel-level Chat Choice Awards Expand the chat choice awards by platformizing it as something that can be done at the channel level with channel-specific categories and awards as well (could generate a ton of engagement). It would be a ton of fun for smaller and mid-sized channels to have things like favorite game of the past year and exciting games for the coming year (using a list of games that the channel sets). Organization, More Interaction by Streamers and Users through this improvement Implement some kind of keyword tagging system similar to a # that will sort chat bubbles that have either a user generated tag or that Twitch can determine to be relevant to certain situations that occur within a live chat. Allow font size increase in text box Allow viewers to increase the font size in the chat text box. I can increase size for chat but want to be able to see what I type before I hit send.

Chat log It would be nice to be able to view your own chat log, the same way moderators/streamers can view yours. And if you've been timed out, you can see which chat message got you a timeout.

Alias Twitch Chat Commands Twitch command aliasing would be a neat addition. Similar to aliasing in .bashrc on Linux.
The ability to set your own aliases for ingrained twitch commands. That way mods dont have to try to remember them, since apparently that is difficult for some.
In this example, it is aliasing the /marker command with /m. In the end both options would work (or as many options as people make).
On Linux it looks like this.
alias '/m'='/marker'On twitch, could be like this.

Adding the option to temporarily mute other users in chat. Twitch chat needs more options to ignore other users that aren't outright blocking. Sometimes a person may want to temporarily ignore another person in chat without having to remember to unblock them later. Giving the option to mute someone for 24 hours allows this.

New chat mode, 'Anti-backseat Chat Mode' An idea that would help streamers control chat from back seating when playing puzzle games.
Allowing mods to put singular users into emote only mode if repeat offenders.
Allowing extra blacklisted words and phrases to be activated when only in this mode. (blacklisting things like 'the other way' 'wrong shape' ect ect.. for aslong as the mode is active.
Adding a banner somewhere in chat or overlay somewhere letting users know anti-backseat mode is active and not to do it.

chat call button By clicking on the chat user’s nickname, a menu appears where you can contact the user, and his nickname will be copied to your chat message. A more convenient way to access than using the @ symbol and spelling a nickname.

Badges for streamers that have completed ****** assault/prevention and other types of training With the recent uptick in ****** misconduct allegations within the Twitch community I think that there is something that can be done to provide streamers, their moderators, and viewers a safer and more welcoming entertainment platform. As a veteran of the United States Air Force I have been required to take many hours of ****** assault prevention and response training along with suicide awareness training. This training is typically done through an initiative called Culture of Respect or Green Dot Training which can be found here https://cultureofrespect.org/program/green-dot-etc/ . Streamer excluded messages. Sometimes its nice to only chat with the chat, not with the Streamer. Because sometimes messages lead to spoilers, which could destroy the play experience of games. It would be a grade idea to make sign messages, which the chat only could reade like: #x# "Testmessage with chat communication." So the chat could communicate with eachother and keep the streamer first playtrough game expirance.

Add "are you sure" for the Moderator's Clear Chat link Add an "are you sure" pop-up acknowledgement for the Moderator's Clear Chat link in the Chat Settings, to cover inadvertent selection of the link. I have on occasion hit the "Clear Chat" link when I was aiming for "Manage Moderation Settings" or "Switch to Non-Mod Settings", which annoys everyone in chat and the Streamer as well.

Alphabets/Foreign language filters A way for streamers and moderators to filter foreign languages in chat, and different alphabets.
As an experienced moderator for large streamers on Twitch, one of the most common "rule-breakers" are the ones speaking in a foreign language. Usually larger streamers who are English spoken wants to have their chat 100% English, therefore a filter for foreign languages outside of the English alphabet would be really helpful. As there are no current tools to really moderate foreign languages. This could be done by making a filter for characters outside of the English alphabet, such as Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian,

Add a clap feature! It would be cool if Twitch had a clap feature. For instance, beneath chat and next to channel points, there could be some button that could be spammed that would contribute to a clap meter. As more viewers click the button, the greater the meter shines (maybe from green to red, with red indicating high activity). I think this would be an additional way for viewers to express their hype.

focuss certain chat member an ability to have one chat member focussed and have a box come up with their messages specifically, for example if they're telling a story or something and you want to see all their messages
