  1. All the pop out chat windows have the same name. At least I can not identify one from another them on Safari.

The title of each twitch chat pop out window is just "STREAM-CHAT" and could be modified to "STREAMNAME-CHAT".

  2. An easy way for streamers to add a set badge to Trusted chatters so its easier for them and chat to sort through the trash. And might promote less garbage.

  3. Create a badge which rewards viewers with the longest consecutive subscription. These "Longest Streak" badges would appear like the current Founder badges, and reward viewers who either:

    A) Met a certain threshold of consecutive subscribed months, and/or

    B) Ranked within the top 10 longest consecutively-subscribed viewers
(top # could be modified and scaled with the size of the streamer)

This badge concept would reward those viewers who maybe weren't lucky enough to find the stream early and get a Founder's badge, but still have been consistent and unwavering in their support of the streamer they love watching.

  4. Please get rid of the 'Chat Identity' button in the messaging area. The user rarely wants to change it anyway (unless Twitch changed it for some reason). The icon Takes up even more space of an area that's already limited, making it unnecessarily cluttered.
The Chat identity settings were fine where they were before: in the settings.

  5. Add the ability to tag messages. Twitch could feature some default tags, then allow the streamer and mods to feature other tags. They can be permanent or temporarily featured. Everyone can filter chat in various ways,

The main reason why I want this is because massive streamers like xQc have hundreds of comments every second. You can never hold an actual conversation or ask a question there.

These tags are basically an alternative to an earlier idea I had, which is to introduce different channels, like you have in discord for example. This way you can categorize everything and split…

  6. In the bot message "Look at https://some.random.website/123." the link is broken because of the trailing point.

Of course twitch cannot know whether a valid sign is part of an URL or not ... nevertheless adding a space after a link looks ugly.

A solution might be to add an explicit link syntax. (Similar to variables in bash.)
    e.g "Look at ${https://some.random.website/123}."

  7. When streaming using my VPN, my chat constantly disconnects and reconnects. This does not happen when VPN is off, and is not actually a connection issue as I never drop frames. I could ignore the constant spamming of "welcome to the chat room" but the problem is that I miss chats from my community. Being a small streamer, this is unacceptable as I read and respond to everyone. Being a female streamer, turning off my VPN is not an option. I do understand that twitch is trying to do something about people using VPN's to get around channel bans. But…

  8. Users have no purpose in seeing when a comment has been moderated. The text should not simply have a stamp placed over it that shows everyone it was removed (social embarrassment pressure) but should be removed entirely from chat. It would allow for fewer data transfer to individuals who are performing as expected. It would reduce chat congestion. It would promote better engagement by streamers as they wouldn't have to scope though garbage comments to reply. If the message sender needs to be notified a whisper could be applied to them suggesting their comment was removed. No further information is…

  9. Everytime a friend writes in chat, we can see their message highlighted. Or being able to select a user and highlight all the messages they write, perhaps temporarily. This funcionality allows users to deepen their individual experience with chat

  10. Recently, a streamer I moderate got spam botted, we did our best to disable chat to prevent it any further (Enabling emote only, follow only at the max time, and slow mode at the max time) but still couldn't stop them. I think it would be really good for twitch to add a "Disable chat" option for mods and streamers alike.

Edit: Fixed some grammar/spelling errors to make it easier to understand

  11. The "Chat Filters" option should be stored server side and global (for all channels) and not just in a cookie. I don't want to disable the filters every time I log in to Twitch and set it for every single channel separately.

  12. Many people feel the VIP badge puts them above others, as in a person given vip is more important than other viewers, changing it to a streamer badge or CC content creator would look and feel better

  13. Basically, just allow smaller streamers (particularly streamers who haven't reached affiliate) to do things like polls and votes with chat without having to be monetized.

  14. It would be nice if we could ban the use of emotes from other streamers who are banned in our channels. We can individually type in their emote tag as a banned word in our bots, but it would be nice to have a global setting to prevent the messages with those emotes to even be sent in chat.

  16. When the streamer put music and is in just chatting maybe the part of the chat can change the white or black color to others colors like a party and in that time the chat and the streamer they will have a more real party experience.

  17. Inserts a feature which allows the streamer or other moderators to add trusted members of the community to be a moderator when a channel becomes busier than usual or no moderators are actively in chat. This would allow the streamer to further concentrate on their business, whilst not having to worry about a potential moderator overload when the channel is not busy (eg 8 mods to 5 viewers)

  18. Commenters shouldn't have the power to have a channel flagged or worse, the person who commented should have their account penalized so that the community has a cleaner chat due to less people wanting to have their own account held accountable for their own actions

  19. Very simple, VPNs and TOR / onion routing are routinely weaponized by bad actors such as serial trolls and harassers to effortlessly ban evade Twitch's IP bans, especially when the bar to create new accounts is incredibly low (if not virtually non-existent). The time has come for Twitch to disable these backdoors that enable harassers and does more harm than good. Twitch uses IRC for its chat functionality, and IRC natively supports detection and blocking of these services. (Twitch just has to enable it)

  20. a filter for chat (like slow mode) but instead of slowing down the time a chatter can send a message, all people can send messages at whatever speed they want but only a random few actually go through. This would help bigger creators who have high viewership, because even if they have 30 second slowmode on, there is still thousands of people who can send a message within that time. This also helps creators who don't want to use 'money mode' but would still like their chat to be viewable. There could be a setting to determine how many messages…
