Highlited messages for moderator
Allow Moderators of a channel have access to highlighted chat messages without the cost of channel points.
this could have big impact in chats as moderator would be able to get a message across to either the chat or the streamer with ease without it being lost in a sea of messages.
this could also be a fetuare the streamer could disable/enable if they dont want moderators to have access to free highlighhted messages.78 votes -

Allow to adjust the font size of the chat on IOS, or at least use a dynamic font to be able to adjust this in the phone settings.

Display new command output on the chat history of a user's viewercard
The Viewercard for each user, specifically those with permissions in each channel to use newly added commands, such as /announce and /shoutout, seems to be missing the output for those commands.
While i understand shoutouts actions are visible from the Modview/Dashboard, it would still be nice to be able to scroll through a moderator's chat history to view who they've previously shouted out.
It would also be nice, and downright common sense, to be able to view the content from a moderator's previous /announce use.

Fix chat disconnect when using a VPN
When streaming using my VPN, my chat constantly disconnects and reconnects. This does not happen when VPN is off, and is not actually a connection issue as I never drop frames. I could ignore the constant spamming of "welcome to the chat room" but the problem is that I miss chats from my community. Being a small streamer, this is unacceptable as I read and respond to everyone. Being a female streamer, turning off my VPN is not an option. I do understand that twitch is trying to do something about people using VPN's to get around channel bans. But…

Progressive Scan Chat (Chat Order of Appearance)
Current Chat is hard to read in streams with lots of viewers. Chats scroll up as new chats appear making it hard to for the eye to track at high speeds.
I'd suggest creating a mode where chat can use a "progressive scan" approach much like old CRT televisions which illuminated pixels sequentially overwriting old pixels. With this approach, new chats would overwrite the oldest chat. The next chat would overwrite the next oldest chat. Chats would stay in a fixed position on the screen until they were overwritten by a new chat. This would make it easier to read…

filters
Make "Chat Filters" setting persistent. Currently, I have to turn my Chat Filters OFF every time I log on to the website, even though I have cookies enabled for the site, and this is very annoying. This setting should be stored in the account and persistently applied. Even better, it could be applied to each individual channel.

Option to turn off the highlight on monitored users.
Can we have an option to turn off the highlight on monitored users for moderation? It especially is useful for the streamer as the person being suspicious shouldn't draw the streamer's attention more than other viewers.

rtf support for Mods
Add RTF chat support for Broadcasters, Bots, and Mods while stripping <script>, <img>, etc. tags. (that way we can actually format command messages such as our rules, or raid messages. Honestly you could just take off the word-break style for those users.)
Even a quiet roll of "Hey, you wanna write your own html? Go for it."

timezone
Allow users to set what timezone they are in, and display both local time and the chatter's time.
eg: I am in US/Eastern and Anon123 is in US/Pacific, so I would see something like this in my chat:
12:01 Nivex: This is a test message
12:02 (9:02) Anon123: Response message2 votes -
Change Rules into Welcome to Chat / a Chat Splash Screen.
(I deleted my old post because it was hard to understand)
A Welcome message that shows up every time you enter a channel's chat. Not when you click to say something like it does now, but when you first see the chat.
It would include Rules but be more welcoming and flexible.
Examples:
Headline: "Chat Rules"
Body: (Usual chat rules as they are currently)Or:
Headline: "AVAST! YE SCURVY KNAVE!"
Body: "He, she, ye, or they who dare cross this rope bridge to join us aboard the ship shall be cursed if they refuse to follow THESE RULES..."Or:
Headline:…

slow down chat for a single user
Sometimes a user maybe chatting too fast/too much in a given time frame. I was watching a stream where a single user was constantly chatting and annoying the streamer. The relevancy of their messages decreased quickly overtime.
Would it be possible to add a "Slow down Single User", where after each message the person can not chat for another 60 - 120 seconds. The time should be determined by the streamer. This way, we won't be effecting everyone in chat, and only that single user.
The spaced out messages would hopefully deal with the user thinking about their messages before…

Have an extended emote only mode (approved text only?)
With the usage of third party emote integration it would be useful if this could be used in emote only mode. Some of our favourite streamers use emotes from third party plug-ins which can't be used in emote only mode. It would be nice if there was some from of extended emote only mode where white listed words can also be used which would tie in with the emotes from these plug-ins whether automatically detected or manually added by the broadcaster/mods

chat should ignore word.word combinations as link, when links are deactivated
If someone forget to set a space after end of sentence point (.) Twitch chat make a link out of it. Example: ...is really heavy.for years i try to... The "heavy.for" is shown as a link. I'm sure it will be misused in the future, when more sublevel domains are on the market. We have the it for italy domain for example. You could just do a page like ****.it and post a sense making sentence around this "link"... You know what I mean...

Make the rules button more explicit
Leave a rules button next to the channel points to highlight the rules.
Note: I make this suggestion because many do not read the rules and the rules button is currently very "hidden" because it has to open the settings.26 votes -
Moderator Chat HighLights and Suspicious Users
When a suspicious user marked as restrict types in chat, others can´t view the message, except the streamer and moderators.
The problem is that streamer can read it during a live stream, specially in a crowded chat even with moderator chat highlights.
Right now there is no great difference for chat highlights between a restricted user and a monitored user. I know that text color is different, but highlight caption is always Suspicious User.
I suggest a different color for moderator highlight as well as a new caption for this situation.
And if possible, an option to disable this type…2 votes -

Allawing streamer to hide partner badge in their own chat
Allow the partner badge to be blocked/disabled by the streamer in their own chat so NO partner badges appear in their chat.
This can help with anxiety that may be caused by seeing this and not knowing the person or also block any passive advertising the partner may be doing/aiming for.
so simply put:
The streamer should be able to remove the partner badge from their own chat altogether for all users chatting in that chat.15 votes
