Remove the feature that unfollows banned users. On 03NOV21, it was revealed that banning a user from a chat will now unfollow them from the stream.
This does NOTHING to manage harassment and gives people one last "AH HA!" when they literally just follow the stream again and either activate the alert or appear in the event list.
"Oh, nice my mod just banned a user with a username STREAMERISBADWORD123!"
Now they all instantly follow again, and streamers event list is littered with it or their alerts are activating.
This is an absurd feature that contributes nothing to chat management and in fact makes it possibly WORSE.…

While working to curb followbot abuse, a product feature was inadvertently released early. As a result, accounts that were banned in a channel were automatically removed as a follower. We’ve rolled back this change and bans should now be functioning as expected.
We’ve heard your feedback about this change and the final product should address many concerns raised. We’re continuing to build, and we’ll let you know what is happening when we’re ready to launch.

Revoke mod's restrictions on blocked terms Moderators are now affected on using blocked terms. This is a negative update since mods use blocked terms to advice the streamer or the chat.
It would be very helpful if it goes back to when us moderators could use blocked terms since it's our duty to help both the streamer and the chat.180 votesHey all!

Mods/Broadcaster Mention Everybody I would like to see an option for moderators and broadcaster to be able to mention everybody that is in the chat. It would be nice to be able to get the whole chats attention as a moderator, sometimes it seems that moderators messages can get drowned out in a chat.

Bring back Sandra22Tampon Leider wurde heute mein geliebtes ****** Emote mit dem Namen „Sandra22Tampon“ gelöscht. Finde das sehr schade, da es viele Leute gab, die dieses Emote super fanden und es auch weiter benutzen möchten.
Der Grund der Löschung war „Unzulässige Inhalte – Anstößige Inhalte wie extreme oder grundlose Darstellung von Gewalt, Blut, Gemetzel, schweren Verletzungen und Tod.“
Allerdings kann ich keine extreme oder grundlose Darstellung von Blut an dem Emote erkennen. Es ist lediglich ein Hygieneprodukt für die Menstruation, welche einen ganz natürlichen Prozess des menschlichen Körpers darstellt. Stop Shadowbanning People On Chat Without Notification. Please stop shadowbanning chat users (specifically when they are using VPNs) while letting them think everything is ok, because it's messed up. People are being shadow banned and thinking nobody cares about what they're saying. You are playing games with their heads when you do this. Stop it.

"Trans" should not be a censored word. The word "trans" alone is not a bad word and therefore should not be censored in Twitch chat. It seems silly to censor "trans" in chat, considering it's just a shortened version of"transgender," which exists as a stream tag.

Check user message history In streams where there can be as many as 10,000 people in one channel, chat at times can be difficult to moderate with so many messages being sent and keep track of user's behaviour. It would be helpful if mods or the streamer could click on a specific username in chat and see their message history. At times it may not be just for one message that may be ban worthy, but just for their attitude i.e. XxReApErxX has only ever chatted to comment on the streamer's bad gameplay. Add option to turn off subscription anniversary reminder The subscription anniversary appears every time I visit live channels that I subscribed to and it doesn't go away. I find it annoying and would like an option to turn it off.

This should be live on the site now. The anniversary reminder will have an ‘X’ in the corner that you can click to easily close and not have it pop up. If you are on web you will have more options to choose to choose as well like delay the reminder till your next time visiting the stream or just not reminding you for the rest of the month.

No se ven los mensajes No se ven mis mensajes, al streamer no le llega y tampoco a los bots, tambien trato de mandar susurro y me aparece "No se entrego tu susurro". Desde el 11/11/2020 a las 8:00 AM que no puedo, ahora es 11/11/2020 a las 9:19 PM y se soluciono por unas horas y despues cuando reinicie la computadora no me deja mandar mas

Investigate Auto-Ban Bug Explore bug causing accounts to be repeatedly auto-flagged for abuse within days of being unlocked despite content of messages not being abusive and/or chat ban evasion occurring.
Customer service refuse to acknowledge issue or provide further detail as to cause/method of prevention. Scripted auto replies and marking cases as solved isn’t addressing a customer query of a genuine request for information.

[Test] Elevated Chat We know on some streams chat moves fast. So we're experimenting with a feature that allows viewers to Elevate their chat messages. If you're in a country with access to this feature, and on a channel in our experiment, you'll see the entry point to Elevated Chat (it's an arrow!) next to the chat input box.
Since this is an experiment, keep in mind that Elevated Chat may appear differently across channels. The experience will likely change before we fully launch to all streamers. We'd love to hear about your feedback with this feature!

Lurker Counter Why are lurkers not counted by streamers? it's also viewers who should be counted, as it can help the streamer grow. Lurkers are also active, so they also belong in the counter.

So please read messages twice or three times to make sure you understand what a person is saying instead of seeing specific words and then chat banning them please
