Hide emote spam in chat When watching popular channels, the chat is often a wall of emote spam not saying anything, and any 'actual' chat messages disappear too fast to read. It would be very useful to hide any messages that are just repeated emotes.

Allow Bots to access Emotes Many streamers have their bots use emotes. Currently the streamer needs to gift their bot a subscription in order to do this. However, this seems wasteful and unnecessary since the bot isn't using any video bandwidth and therefore causes limited costs to Twitch.
Twitch should give emote access to all known bots, and for bots that use custom accounts (such as MixItUp bot) allow the account holder to mark those accounts as a bot (with Twitch regulating this by only allowing those "bot" accounts to view chat and prevent those "bot" accounts viewing the actual video content of streams so…

Ranking Update: Curent Year Subsription/Cheer gifters Looking at my dashboard with pinned on the top of the chat gifters ranking - it let set up only Daily, weekly, monthly and all time ranking. I just wonder, why there isn't yet Current Year ranking.
IMHO, i would REALLY appreciate this one set-up. i'm sure, some of creators also would like to use it instead.

Anniversary Badges for accountage A special global anniversary badge for user they use twitch for example 5 years or 10 years, 15 years. So its easy to identify experienced twitch user.

Return the ability to show text in chat box instead of emotes/animated emotes Having any more than a couple emotes causes my chat box to lag horribly with the new chat options. It would be nice to have a toggle in the options somewhere to turn off having embedded pictures in the chat box.

Ability to make replies only by the Streamer / Moderators While I really like the Chat Replies, I think that I agree with the comments in https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310201-chat-messaging/suggestions/41117761-ability-to-turn-off-chat-reply-threads-feature saying that it can become really confusing and hard to moderate.
I think that in addition to that feature, there should be another option to limit Chat Replies to only the streamer / moderators as this would be extremely valuable in cases where there are Q&A sessions or where streamers want their moderation team to collate responses and maintain context of the response.

Add Profile Pictues to Chat On the left side of viewers names in chat, have a small profile picture so that people are more distinguishable. Would be better for smaller streamers and looks aesthetically pleasing. You could also make this an option that streamers can set in their chat settings.

Visible chat/whispers character limit It would be very helpful to have the current hidden character limit shown just like on twitter or similar websites, and not be able to send the messages when they are too long, instead of giving us the illusion to have sent them successfully when it is not actually the case. Both in chat and whispers.

Breakout chat rooms in large streams As most of you may know, the chat in large twitch streams is usually an endless stream of copy pastas and capitalized spam. People who want to use the chat to, well, chat have no choice but to remain silent or be buried under the barrage. I usually chat with individual friends about matches being streamed live and just now got the idea of having multiple "breakout" chat rooms that will each house a fraction of the viewers. The moderation rule "Chatters without a verified phone number must have accounts older than [age]" is currently broken I can't chat in certain channels anymore that I used to, and the streamers that I spoke to about it haven't changed any moderation settings between me being able to chat and me not being able to chat. It's a problem across multiple channels and persists across multiple platforms and apps.
The problem began on either May 25th or May 26th.

Whitelist whispers from your followers / subs only setting Similar to the setting to Block whispers from strangers. Have a secondary option that re-allows whispers from your followers, or a higher level your subscribers only.
"Want to be famous" bots have been circumventing filters in chat by whispering creators. There are legitimate reasons to want to have whispers open to your community, but currently the only option is to block whispers from strangers. A creator can't go around and follow/friend everyone of their followers.
A reason for including sub only (in addition to followers) would be reducing chance of harassment as subs are less likely to.

Allow font size increase in text box Allow viewers to increase the font size in the chat text box. I can increase size for chat but want to be able to see what I type before I hit send.

chat rules when you click to chat in the first time in a stream, the chat rules appears, and I think the majority of people don't actually read the rules, and a good idea would be that the streamer sets an amount of time that the chat rules stay there, then people actually read the rules.

Temporarly disable follower only chat mode during raids. It would be nice to have an option to temporarily disable follower only chat mode during a raid from another channel, with an option to set how many minutes follower only would be disabled. Or have twitch chat recognize who came over from the raid, and allow them to chat despite follower only mode being active.

Mirror whispers to chat: Mods to Streamers Twitch staff here. A streamer mentioned they'd love if there would be an option to have whispers from their Mods to appear in their chat and be highlighted. The streamer mentioned they use pop-out chat and primarily uses the chat of engagement, and this would help them keep the flow of their stream without having to pause and click through the Whispers window to see specific messages.
In addition, maybe add an option for everyone to toggle having whispers mirrored to a chat if they are watching a stream with the @USERNAME and a notice it is a whisper. Just…

Customizable shoutout Hey, would like it if the message that the shoutout command posts in the chat was costumizable and also had the option of showing the last game (or maybe even the last 2 or 3 games) that the person being shouted out played.
