When a viewer leaves, or is banned from Twitch affecting the leaderboards When a viewer leaves, or is banned from Twitch and this viewer was in the top 10 of either / both of the gifted sub / bits leaderboards, the space is still taken but shows blank.
This looks silly. The positions should all shift up to remove the blank space.
Right now, a channel I'm involved in, has a notification to gift a sub to be #1, when that wouldn't be the case at all.

total follow time instead of follow date ppl get triggered when they accidentally unfollow their favorite streamer because the precious date on their card, if when you click on someone's or your own name it just said "5y 23d Followed" and counted the total follow time not just the recent segment it would fix this

Randomize the chat identity color like the first time It would be nice if you could randomize the chat identity color like the first time.
Even though I can always change it but I can't choose.
I feel that my identity is limited when my name's color is the same.If I can, please tell me.
Thank you.

Ping chatters on live chat while streaming Hi all !
I post this message to know if what I'm thinking about does exist.
I'm talking about an option to have the messages, from some chatters, "pinged" on the chat window (live chat continue scroll & pinged messages stay for 15-20 secondes, this option for big streamers or not).
With this, we can add something like 50 chatters (or more), who paid this option (like a sub)🤑🤑🤑
this is just to know if this think exist on twitch?
Have a godd day 🤓🤓🤓
Kind regards from Belgium

Ability to see what a user has clipped from their usercard A better way to see what a user has clipped from a stream would make it much easier to see what kind of user you're dealing with especially when it comes to users making clips that take things said out of context or allowing you to see when a user is regularly clipping when a streamer does something as innocuous a standing up or picking something up off the floor

Allow Moderators to mark deleted text with flags Allow Moderators to mark deleted text with flags (such as SPOILER for game spoilers, or TOS for issues which may require suspension/banning now/later)
Some broadcasters want to verify why people were moderated, and they don't want to risk reading deleted/purged chat messages only to come across a current game spoiler they were trying to avoid.
When moderators delete the text of a user, if they could later click on it in the message history and flag it with <SPOILER></SPOILER> or <TOS></TOS> it would be great.

Visability of privately banned users in chats i moderate. I have banned a user from my channel also banned from whispers etc.
Here is the problem:
I mod for various streamers. The user is in those streams too but not banned.
Because i banned the user from my own channel and whispers etc i can not see the chat messages posted by this person in the chats i moderate (except when they have onscreen chat ). This is very inconvenient. As a mod you need to be able to see all the chatters messages. Please make it possible to view the whole chat for mods including the users privately…

Chat messages visible only for Mods and Streamer. Sometimes as a mod you need to tell something quick to other mods or to the channel streamer and you have to rely on other platforms like Discord or Twitter (or whispers) which makes it slow and tedious.
It would be great to write something in chat and make it visible only for other mods and the streamer, maybe a pinned message for 30 seconds on the same area where Hype trains and other important things appear.
The streamer could enable/disable this feature and the time to make this messages available.26 votes -

z index Just a small visual bug I have encountered in a very specific window size but It could be useful to fix it to prevent future clipping with other elements.
I think the emotes pop z index could be changed up to be the same z-index as other overlays. To prevent it from clipping with other chat elements, currently the stream title
I believe it to be:
--z-index-overlay: 3000
and is currently--z-index-default: 1

Toggle chat in vertically stacked layout Observed Behaviour:
Given chat is enabled,
and given the browser window is less than 920 pixels wide,
and given the browser window is more than 786 pixels high,
when a user enables theatre mode,
then chat is shown below the stream,
and then there is no button to hide chat.Expected Behaviour:
Given there is enough space vertically (currently 170px in addition to the stream player),
then there is a button to show/hide chat.3 votes -

Change the Bit and Emote button position in Mobile Chat On phones when editing text it is difficult especially in 日本語(Japanese) to select and edit text due to accidental pressing of the bit and emote button. Maybe a slide-out drawer for emotes and bit would be better to clear the chat field or just place it on the opposite side out of the chat field.

Implement full native chat logs for Twitch Since Twitch's chat is based off of IRC, in theory this should be somewhat simple.
There would be a section in the Twitch dashboard under moderation where you could go and view the chat logs either for individual streams, or for certain dates, or use wildcards/keywords/filters/tags to find what you are looking for.
This would help with moderating your chat, and make sure people were not abusing others while you're offline or away.
I've heard that posting Twitch chat logs is against TOS or something, so you would have to outline restrictions and rules in the TOS and community guidelines…

Add integrated bot There should be an option to set up a bot without making a new account.
How it would work?
You would have a bot tab, which allows you to get a link to connect other services to it like streamelements, streamlabs, etcWhat are the benefits:
1) people don't have to get their bots a subscription
2) it's extremely easy to customise
3) no one has a reason to create bot accounts unless it's meant with malice. Which would help a ton with things like tracking follow bots and hate raid bots.20 votes -
