Autofocus on Follow/unfollow button It seems that for some reason when you are idle in a stream it is autofocussing on the follow/unfollow button.
This is bad!
No wonder why some ppl unfollow without knowing they did.
Needs fix!

BUG: Changing username prevents you from being able to write back If someone Whispers to you, but you change your username before replying, you can end up being unable to write back, with a message at the bottom:
"This user has turned on "Block Whispers from Strangers" in their privacy settings and must start a conversation with you first."
Thus, you end up with people writing to you and wanting an answer from you, but you can't write back, even though you should be able to, as they did started the conversation first.

Support right to left text alignment when typing arabic and english text at the same sentence. Support right to left text alignment when typing arabic and english text at the same sentence.
As example:

In this example, some text came before other text, when translating the above sentence we get:"I have some news to you jon peace be upone you mr."
The above sentence should be in the same order as this:
لدي بعض الاخبار لك jon السلام عليكم يا
When we translate this sentence we get:"Peace be upone you mr. jon, I have some news to you."

Blocked users are shown if their messages are pinned I have users blocked yet I can still see their message if themselves as a mod or the streamer pinned their message.
Blocked should not be able to see a user whatsoever, pinned or otherwise. This seems like a major bug in the chat system that to show toxic users which could set people off by seeing their username even just by pinning their username and message. In the terms where the streamer doesn't do anything with toxic users against other users.

Bug: Chat box clash with side panel causing typing backwards There is a bug related to the interaction between Twitch chat and the For You panel.
When some text is typed into the chat box (but enter is not pressed) and the mouse hovers over a channel in the For You panel and then hovers off the channel name, the Text box will resume focus but then any further text being typed will occur in reverse.It may be related to the 'focus-visible' css class being removed from the chatbox element when the channel hover is activated.

VoD Chat is delayed after disconnect. When watching a VoD, if at any point the stream went down but the VoD didn't split between two videos, the chat ends up on a delay, seemingly for the same length of time the stream was down. With messages appearing after the streamer has replied to them.
From what I can recall this has not been an issue for very long. (Few Months - Half a year)5 votes -

Tool Tips Breaking UX The new Tool Tip pop up that has been released site wide breaks all site functionality in Chrome and Firefox whenever a UI element is hovered over. Including emote selection, all chat UI elements, mod tools, channel points, chat identities, or any UI element that has a hover over text pop up effect. Ayuda con las transmisiones Uso la plataforma desde mi celular y ahora me pasa que cuando veo algún directo me sale quw ha finalizado la transmisión y vi varias transmisiones y es igual osea yo no los puedo ver pero la gente que esta en directo si los ve y los escucha entonces opté por borrar el caché cerrar la aplicación y entrar denuedo y seguía igual, luego desisnstale la aplicación y la volví a instalar y problema persiste no sé que hacer vi mi problema en videos de yputube y no he visto ningún video que me solucione el problema hasta le pregunte…

No more reverse chat in Twitch! Windows 11, Google Chrome, When I Alt tab, then go back to the chrome window with twitch, text it typed backwards in the chat box. It would be nice if this didn't happen. it only happens with twitch and not other websites. It's not related to ctrl+shift, and its not related to related to the insert key. Pls Fix!

The Chat Highlight banner hides message content until the user scrolls down, or another message pushes it up When a user that has a chat highlight (Returning Chatter, Suspicious User etc) the message content will be pushed slightly off screen, hidden beneath the "Send a message" box in Mod view. This means that mods have to either manually scroll down the chat to see the message, or wait for another chat message to push it up.
This is particularly an issue if, for example, a suspicious or monitored user says something undesirable that we might miss for longer than we would like to.

Chat ranomdly loses focus when typing more often than ever When I have the chat box selected and start typing, I often find I am not actually writing in the textbox and firing off all sorts of player hotkeys. Please fix this. It happens in both Chrome and Firefox and likely affects other browsers as well.
This bug has gotten increasingly prominent over the past two months and it's getting hard to manage. The fact that the cursor appears to be in the textbox without it being actually focused is super misleading and destroys the UX.

/announce doesn't show message on mobile the message used with /announce does not render at all on mobile. If it just didn't highlight then that's one thing, but a mod message that no mobile users can see is worthless.
I was eager to utilize the feature, but without mobile users being able to see the message /announce does more harm than good and I can't use it

Can't copy mobile chat messages Android 13

Pixel 6aI see 6 other posts on X/Twitter going back to Sept 28 with the same issue. As well as a viewer in a stream saying they couldn't copy raid message from their tablet.
Can no longer tap and hold the message.
Can only tap the name.
Regular viewer no longer has option to copy text
Mods have option to copy text of others but can no longer copy their own text.This feature is useful for viewers to copy raid messages.
