  1. As a streamer or editor (the latter most of all), it might not always be convenient to have to open the dashboard to change a streams title or game. Enabling us to do so in chat using commands like /title and /game would make it a lot easier.

Up untill now you need a chatbot hooked into the twitch API to control this from chat, wich is not horrible, but it makes some streams really dependant on these bots and not everyone wants that.

I know that there are commands specific to broadcasters and editors only so i would imagine…

  2. This seem to have started in the last month. Every VOD is automatically on a Youtube style "autoplay". What's with that? I always enjoyed using twitch when going to sleep because there are long videos that eventually end. The fact that it'll keep playing all night is obnoxious. Why isn't there even an option to turn this off?

  3. This option would allow streamers to bank uncashed out bits and use them to donate to other channels, if they want. For example, one of my viewers sends me 500 bits. Those bits are banked and I can use them when making donations in the future.

  4. When I travel, I expect that I'm not engaging my audience and that I'll lose viewers/subs/etc. The rerun functionality right now is a way to give viewers a reason to hang out while watching content - but it's too hard to do. Someone has to manually manage each days list of videos, manually start it, manually start it, and frequently communicate in chat that it's not in fact a live stream.

Here's how I believe it'd be solved and would increase streamer quality of life:

    1) Allow the scheduled start and stop of Re-Run playlists.

    2) When scheduling the stop,…

  5. I don't know if it's different for Partners than for Affiliates, but as an affiliate I have to delete my old emote before I can upload a replacement. That means my only sub emote for tier 1 is unavailable for my subs until the new one is approved by Twitch, which could take days.

Please add the ability to upload a replacement (including using the same short code or changing it if needed) without needing to delete the old one first.

  6. The idea! To have a playlist of clips from the the last 24hr or most watched clips which can be run as a warm up man before the stream has started. say the streamer is starting at 14:00 a mod or streamer runs the latest warm up playlist five minutes before.

this is a bit out there and Twitch may not be able to let you do this. i can't test as I don't have access to playlist. Can you make a playlist of clips? and can you set up a automatic clip playlist that is deleted and recreated at…

  7. Place the clip button at the opposite side of the video frame than the other buttons. Most clips nowadays are a result of accidental clicks. Also, clips should be saved only if the user expressly confirms to save it.

  8. Users will be able to purchase emotes in an "Emote Shop". Streamers can choose how much to charge for each of their emotes. The user can purchase emotes from various streamers and will be charged monthly for a one lump sum per month, 3 months, 6 months, or unlimited time price. This will encourage revenue for streamers from people that don't want to pay the full subscription price. This will also make people want to collect emotes from different streamers. Perhaps a trophy system of some sort could be included with this system to encourage people to buy more emotes…

  9. I’ve noticed that lately all streamers have gotten addons that will disable double-click to fullscreen unless I disable the addon. This is actually extremely annoying, as you have to be pretty precise to hit the small full-screen button in the lower right, or I have to go and disable the addon every time. I never use it anyways, so maybe either enable doubleclick to fullscreen again, have the addon disabled by default (but I guess you have more stats of who are actually using it) or best of all, add some setting so I can disable it by default. It’s…

  10. Hiding chat should remove the chat window completely. Right now it leaves a placeholder, "Chat is hidden" and takes up a lot of room. Some users want to maximize the video size without going full screen.

  11. Sometimes I feel like listening to the streamers while playing some of my games, also when there are streamers that I watch that play the piano, so even though this is not a MUST HAVE idea, it would still be very nice to have the option in hand :)

  12. I've seen multiple requests to be able to "hide" certain panels from appearing below the stream as opposed to just deleting them and having to remake them again later, but to expand on that idea, I'd like to suggest being able to have multiple layouts for panels available to use. This would be useful for variety streamers with multiple games they play regularly, people who do different types of streams on certains days (some streamers have sub sunday, etc) and would also be useful in creating panel setups for events like charity streams.

With multiple panel layouts available we'd be…

  13. I get why these new changes have been made, in separation of Amazon Prime, and Twitch Turbo, but I think that the $8.99/month is a little high.. I don't think there are enough benefits to make it viable...the only reason I would want it, is for the site wide ad-free viewing. Which I think you guys could and probably would get more Twitch Turbo subscribers if the price was $4.99, just like a channel subscription. I personally would have instantly purchased a Twitch Turbo subscription if that were the price, but I (and probably most people) don't want to pay…

  14. There should be different sound settings or mute options when watching a channel to be able to listen to streamer/music/game sounds together or only one/two of them.

  15. Simply allow full manual sorting of all your followed channel in the sidebar (on desktop, Chrome/Firefox etc.). Additionally give options to sort by subscriber/follower count (add new ideas here..).

Currently the channels are in what seems to be a completely random order (definitely not alphabetical or by sub/follow count). My most watched streamers which are also big by overall Twitch standards are at the very bottom by default and I need to 1) scroll down, 2) click "more" twice to get to them when they're not live.

  18. It seems a good idea to connect viewers to streamers from their own country. cultural dependencies can be capitalized on, right twitch?

  19. Titles like the Super Smash Bros. games, Street Fighter games, and WWE/WWF wrestling games often attract the same viewers, regardless of which specific game in their series is being played. It would be convenient for viewers and helpful to streamers to provide a page that groups these games together. These could be unique grouping pages similar to broadcaster teams, which would allow regular game categories to continue unchanged. Ideally, these categories should also appear in the game directory to make them more visible to potential viewers.

  20. As a streamer I want to be able to give an "I was there LIVE" badge to current viewers of my stream.

Often something is accomplished live on stream that maybe significant to the respective community. By adding this badge it allows the streamer to 'officially' designate who was watching when that event occured.
