  1. Extend Editors permissions to Clips

Editors are a huge help for streamers after certain point of their careers, and it's great that they can ease the pain of managing highlights, collections, etc, but I don't understand why Clips are exempt of the benefits of being managed by Editors, it would help streamers even more to manage their content.

TL;DR: Let Editors manage the clips of the channel they edit.

  2. More abilities for channel editors to manage the channel they are editing

I was wondering if channel editors could access more of a channel's dashboard and settings. The broadcaster could allow access manually to different tabs on dashboard or channel settings to a specific editor through the editing tab. I noticed an issue whereas I can't even check the channel subscribers or edit the broadcaster's panels as an editor and having a lot of responsibility on the moderation of the channel, I need to see that info. Also maybe allow editors to manage channel moderators. (/unmod and /mod commands). Basically if a broadcaster trusts a person to allow her/him these rights, he…

We are revisiting the editor role, to improve it, or to create another role, such that we don’t overload the editor role.

  3. More payment types to subscribe with

Like, Tim horten Gift Card's , or Itunes

Let us know in the comments which types of payments you’d like to subscribe with!

  4. List of Current/Past Chat Moderators Visible Under the Permissions Tab in Dashboard

This list could be visible by the channel owner, channel editors and chat moderators.

Information like Editor Since and Moderator Since, would also be neat.

  6. Replace the "Online" status on the Friends List with what stream they're watching or what Twitch page theyre on

Right now the layout is simply:

    Friends
    ----------
    Name
    Online
    Name
    Online
    Name
    Online

etc, etc. I think it would be cool if it said what stream they were watching or what page they were on, to give us more of an incentive to have users added and to discover new content. A new friends list would look like:

    Friends
    ----------
    Friend1
Browsing Counter Strike: Global Offensive streams
    Friend2
    Watching m0e_tv
    Friend3
    Watching highlights from GODaZeD
    Friend4
    On Twitch.tv main page

Something like this would be cool, so I could hop on twitch and see what chats and streams my…

Thanks or the idea! We’re working on something similar along this vein of thinking.

  7. Notification when a streamer changes what game they're streaming.

Twitch should provide an (optional) notification, similar to the one that notifies you when a streamer goes live, that notifies you when a streamer changes games. No matter how much we love a streamer, there are those games that you just can't watch them play. So, maybe you want to watch another streamer until your favorite streamer plays a game that you can enjoy watching them play.

  8. Have channel-feed on dashboard

    https://blog.twitch.tv/attention-broadcasters-channel-feed-beta-is-now-available-28f7c3dff995

This got recently added. Currently its only on your channel-page. Why not add it to dashboard? Seems like a logical idea. I use dashboard to manage my stream, so having the channel-feed there would be useful I guess

  9. Multi-Monitor, Multi-Stream Whisper Support

If you have multiple monitors and have more than one stream open at once - currently - reading a whisper on one instance does not mark it read on all open streams. Also, your messages only appear in the tab you write them in, unless you refresh. Having your whisper chats sync across all open streams in real time would be extremely helpful.

Thanks for reaching out. We plan to have this in future releases.

  10. Broadcasters should be able to see which mods are timing out/purging/banning viewers directly from the message displayed

If a mod is abusing their power and purging people against the wishes of the broadcaster, the broadcaster should be able to quickly see who is doing it. A message should appear just for the broadcaster like "<user> timed out for 600 seconds by <mod>

  11. Remove the whisper

Please allow broacasters to stop and remove the whisper feature in there channel. As a streamer and Moderator for a few big streamers we are getting people complaining about trolls and bots that are spamming them.

Working on this, thanks for dealing until we get out a fix.

  12. Add landscape chat to Android version of mobile app.

Some of us don't own a tablet, or an iPhone (which apparently already has landscape chat) and AFAIK most of us can't type in portrait without going full SwiftRage. Lakitu, Ace, or other third-party apps look better, but we don't really want to be linking our Twitch accounts to third parties in the first place. Any particular reason why this hasn't been done already? It'd be nice even without the translucency present in, for example, Windows Mobile "LiveGaming" third-party Twitch app.

Thanks for the suggestion, we’ve got a lot of great features planned for Android. Landscape chat is definitely something we want to support.

  13. Translate newsletters

It would be great if you would translate the important newsletters (ideally all newsletters). I know people that ask me to translate newsletters from Twitch simply because Google Translate doesn't translate properly some geek words and sometimes changes the meaning of complicated sentences.
I'm sure that properly translated website and messages to your community would greatly improve the quality of your project.

Oh, and translation of the http://help.twitch.tv would help as well.

Hey Ivan, This is definitely something we plan to do this year. Thanks for the feedback.

  14. Add a "mark as spam" or "report message" feature to the inbox page to simplify spam reporting

A "spam" button should be easy to add into the messaging page interface and save time in reporting spammers/scammers.
It's bad enough they waste our time with messages, but then we have to track them down to report the violation?
A simple "spam" button like any email service has would suffice, save time, and help to eliminate clutter.
(for example, i had 2 spam messages, no clue how to report them, by the time i was told how, the accounts were already removed but the messages are still in my inbox)

you give us "block", why not "spam"?

This is something we’d like to do at some point.

  15. Automatically unhost when starting your stream

Many users end their stream by hosting another user. They must remember to unhost before starting their next stream, otherwise their stream will not be viewable. This can be an issue for streamers who do not regularly visit their dashboard. For smaller streamers without an active chat this can lead to hours of streaming before realizing they forgot to unhost.
